BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO: 21 Section 1. (C) The Mansfield Reformatory Preservation Society, Inc., 93 shall use and occupy the premises situated on the real estate 94 described in division (A) of this section for historic 95 preservation purposes, including office, retail, storage, public 96 tours, and other uses incidental to such purposes. If the Mansfield Reformatory Preservation Society, Inc., ceases to use 97 the real estate for these purposes, all right, title, and 98 interest in the real estate described in division (A) of this 99 section shall revert to the state without the need for any 100 further action by the state. (D) Upon payment of the purchase price, the Auditor of 102 State, with the assistance of the Attorney General, shall prepare 103 a deed to the real estate described in division (A) of this 104 section. The deed shall state the consideration and the 105 possibility of reverter. The deed shall be executed by the 106 Governor in the name of the state, countersigned by the Secretary 107 of State, sealed with the Great Seal of the State, presented in 108 the Office of the Auditor of State for recording, and delivered 109 to the Mansfield Reformatory Preservation Society, Inc. The Mansfield Reformatory Preservation Society, Inc., shall present 110 the deed for recording in the office of the Richland County 112 Recorder. (E) The Mansfield Reformatory Preservation Society, Inc., 114 shall pay the costs of the conveyance. 116 (F) This section expires one year after its effective 118 date. Section 2. (A) The Governor is hereby authorized to 120 execute a deed in the name of the state conveying to the City of 121 Mansfield, and its successors and assigns, all of the state's 122 right, title, and interest in the following described real 123 4 estate: Situated in the City of Mansfield, County of Richland, 125 State of Ohio and being part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 126 3, Township 21, Range 18 and further described as follows: 127 Beginning for the same at a railroad spike found marking 129 the southwest corner of Section 3, and the intersection of the 130 centerline of Harrington Memorial Road with the centerline of 131 T.H. 269 (Piper Road), said spike also being the Principal Point 132 of Beginning for the parcel described herein; 1) thence N 0°23'42"W, 449.46 feet along the west line of 134 Section 3 and the centerline of Harrington Memorial Road to a mag 135 spike set; 2) thence N 88°38'15"E, 263.55 feet and passing for 137 reference a survey marker set at 33.00 feet to a survey marker 138 set; 3) thence N 00°40'50"E, 250.32 feet to a survey marker 140 set; 4) thence N 88°38'15"E, 1463.93 feet to a drill hole set; 142 5) thence N 40°41'31"E, 1493.88 feet to a survey marker 144 set on the east line of the southwest quarter of Section 3; 145 6) thence S 0°39'20"W, 1816.60 feet along said east line 147 of the southwest quarter of Section 3 to a railroad spike found 148 on the south line of Section 3 and the centerline of T.H. 269 149 (Piper Road); 7) thence S 88°46'50"W, 2680.69 feet along said south line 151 of Section 3 and the centerline of T.H. 269 (Piper Road) to the 152 Principal Point of Beginning, enclosing an area of 54.080 acres 153 more or less, of which the present road occupies 8.292 acres, 154 more or less.
