A BILL
To enact section 5.2221 of the Revised Code1
designating April 6 of each year "Tartan Day."2


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That section 5.2221 of the Revised Code be enacted3
to read as follows:4

       Sec. 5.2221. The sixth day of April shall be designated as5
"Tartan Day," in honor of the anniversary of the signing of the6
Declaration of Arbroath, the Scottish declaration of independence,7
on April 6, 1320.8
