Section 4. Upon the conveyance to the state of the real | 165 |
estate described in Section 2 of this act, the Auditor of State, | 166 |
with the assistance of the Attorney General, shall prepare a deed | 167 |
to the real estate described in Section 1 of this act. The deed | 168 |
shall state the consideration. The deed shall be executed by the | 169 |
Governor in the name of the state, countersigned by the Secretary | 170 |
of State, sealed with the Great Seal of the State, presented in | 171 |
the Office of the Auditor of State for recording, and delivered to | 172 |
the Jackson City Board of Education. The Jackson City Board of | 173 |
Education shall present the deed for recording in the Office of | 174 |
the Jackson County Recorder. | 175 |
Section 5. This act shall expire one year after its effective | 176 |
date. | 177 |
Section 6. This act is hereby declared to be an emergency | 178 |
measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public | 179 |
peace, health, and safety. The reason for such necessity is that | 180 |
immediate action is necessary to enable the Jackson City Board of | 181 |
Education to begin construction on an urgently needed new school | 182 |
building. Therefore, this act shall go into immediate effect. | 183 |
