A BILL
To enact section 5533.68 of the Revised Code to1
designate a portion of Interstate 270 within2
Franklin county as the "Trooper Frank G. Vazquez3
Memorial Highway."4


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That section 5533.68 of the Revised Code be5
enacted to read as follows:6

       Sec. 5533.68. Notwithstanding any action taken by the7
director of transportation pursuant to section 5511.09 of the8
Revised Code to the contrary, that portion of interstate route two9
hundred seventy running in a northerly and southerly direction10
within western Franklin county, between the intersection of that11
highway and interstate route seventy and the georgesville road12
interchange of interstate route two hundred seventy, shall be13
known as the "Trooper Frank G. Vazquez Memorial Highway."14

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers15
along the highway indicating its name. 16
