A BILL
To enact section 5533.34 of the Revised Code to1
designate the portion of State Route 72 from its2
intersection with Interstate 70 in Clark County to3
the boundary of Clark and Champaign counties as the4
"Governor James A. Rhodes Memorial Highway."5


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That section 5533.34 of the Revised Code be6
enacted to read as follows:7

       Sec. 5533.34. That portion of the road known as state route8
number seventy-two running in a north and south direction,9
commencing at the intersection of state route number seventy-two10
and interstate number seventy in Clark county and extending11
northward to the boundary of Clark county and Champaign county12
including that portion of South Limestone street running in front13
of the former Springfield high school, shall be known as the14
"Governor James A. Rhodes Memorial Highway." This designation is15
in addition to the designation in section 5533.23 of the Revised16
Code.17

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers18
along the highway indicating its name.19
