A BILL
To enact section 5.2232 of the Revised Code to 1
designate March as "Multiple Sclerosis Awareness 2
Month."3


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That section 5.2232 of the Revised Code be enacted 4
to read as follows:5

       Sec. 5.2232. The month of March is designated as "Multiple 6
Sclerosis Awareness Month" to enhance understanding of the 7
disease, including its causes and health effects, and to support 8
and encourage education programs and research to develop effective 9
therapies and find a cure.10

       Section 2. It is the intent of the General Assembly in 11
enacting section 5.2232 of the Revised Code to increase public 12
awareness and understanding of multiple sclerosis in order to help 13
serve the thousands of Ohioans and their families affected by the 14
disease.15
