A BILL

To enact section 5.073 of the Revised Code to 1
designate the Newark Earthworks as the official 2
prehistoric monument of the state. 3

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 5.073 of the Revised Code be enacted 4
to read as follows: 5

Sec. 5.073. The Newark earthworks in Licking county, which 6
are geometric earthen enclosures constructed during the 7
prehistoric time period, are hereby designated the official 8
prehistoric monument of the state. 9
