(a) Any structure consisting of one or more buildings,

accommodations are offered for pay to transient
guests

period of thirty days or less, including, but not

a structure denoted as a hotel, motel, motor
hotel, lodge, motor | 14 |
lodge, bed and breakfast, or inn; | 15 |
(b) Any structure consisting of one or
more buildings, with | 16 |
more than five sleeping rooms, that is
specifically constructed, | 17 |
kept, used,
maintained, advertised, and
held out to the public to

be a
place where
temporary
residence
is offered for pay to | 19 |
persons,
including, but not limited to, an extended stay hotel or | 20 |
extended
stay motel that is specifically constructed, and approved | 21 |
by the
building official having jurisdiction over it and by the | 22 |
fire
marshal, for extended stay temporary residence by persons, | 23 |
and
that contains six or more dwelling units with provision for | 24 |
living, eating, cooking, sanitation, and sleeping. | 25 |
(2) Commercial lodging houses with more than three units in | 43 |
which all of the units are constructed, approved, and certified by | 44 |
the building official having jurisdiction over the building as | 45 |
residential occupancies where the occupants are primarily | 46 |
transient in nature if all of the units are kept, used, | 47 |
maintained, and advertised as transient residences and where the | 48 |
minimum stay of the occupant is more than thirty days but less | 49 |
