| To enact sections 1751.661 and 3923.602 of the | 1 |
| Revised Code to require insurers that provide | 2 |
| coverage for the influenza vaccine to cover a | 3 |
| thimerosal-free influenza vaccine for children | 4 |
| under six years of age. | 5 |
| Section 1. That sections 1751.661 and 3923.602 of the Revised | 6 |
| Code be enacted to read as follows: | 7 |
| Sec. 1751.661. Notwithstanding section 3901.71 of the | 8 |
| Revised Code, any individual or group health insuring corporation | 9 |
| policy, contract, or agreement that provides coverage for | 10 |
| influenza vaccinations shall provide coverage for a | 11 |
| thimerosal-free influenza vaccination for children under six years | 12 |
| of age who are covered under the policy, contract, or agreement. | 13 |
| Sec. 3923.602. Notwithstanding section 3901.71 of the | 14 |
| Revised Code, any individual or group policy of sickness and | 15 |
| accident insurance or public employee benefit plan that provides | 16 |
| coverage for influenza vaccinations shall provide coverage for a | 17 |
| thimerosal-free influenza vaccination for children under six | 18 |
| years of age who are covered under the policy or plan. | 19 |
