A BILL
To amend section 5502.31 of the Revised Code to 1
specify an additional type of Emergency Management 2
Agency for which a political subdivision may make 3
an appropriation. 4


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1.  That section 5502.31 of the Revised Code be 5
amended to read as follows:6

       Sec. 5502.31.  Each political subdivision may make 7
appropriations for the payment of the expenses of its local 8
activities for emergency management and for the payment of the 9
expensesincurred by an agency established pursuant to section 10
5502.271 of the Revised Code or chargeable to that political 11
subdivision by agreement in any county wherein a countywide agency 12
or regional authority for emergency management has been 13
established pursuant to section 5502.26 of the Revised Code or a 14
regional authority has been established pursuant to section15
5502.27 of the Revised Code, respectively.16

       Section 2.  That existing section 5502.31 of the Revised Code 17
is hereby repealed.18
