A BILL

To amend section 755.29 of the Revised Code to

increase the competitive bidding threshold for

contracts entered into by a board of park trustees

3

for certain municipal park improvements.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 755.29 of the Revised Code be amended	5
to read as follows:	6

Sec. 755.29.  The board of park trustees, before entering	7
into any contract for the performance of any work, the cost of	8
which exceeds tentwenty-five thousand dollars, shall cause plans	9
and specifications and forms of bids to be prepared, and when	10
adopted by the board, it shall have them printed for distribution	11
among bidders.	12

Section 2. That existing section 755.29 of the Revised Code	13
is hereby repealed.	14
