| To enact section 1503.061 of the Revised Code to | 1 |
| create the Ohio Tree Fund to be used to reforest | 2 |
| land that is owned by the state. | 3 |
| Section 1. That section 1503.061 of the Revised Code be | 4 |
| enacted to read as follows: | 5 |
| Sec. 1503.061. There is hereby created in this state | 6 |
| treasury the Ohio tree fund. The fund shall consist of gifts, | 7 |
| donations, bequests, and other money contributed to it. The chief | 8 |
| of the division of forestry shall use money in the fund to | 9 |
| purchase tree seedlings for the reforestation of land that is | 10 |
| owned by the state, maintain those seedlings, and acquire | 11 |
| additional land for the planting of trees. | 12 |
