5533.627, 5533.628, 5533.629, 5533.645, 5533.646, 5
5533.688, 5533.752, 5533.768, 5533.769, 5533.831, 6
5533.832, 5533.901, 5533.902, and 5533.961 of the 7
Revised Code to designate a number of memorial 8
highways.9


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That sections 5533.051 and 5533.774 be amended and 10
sections 5533.104, 5533.221, 5533.254, 5533.301, 5533.321, 11
5533.322, 5533.356, 5533.377, 5533.378, 5533.379, 5533.461, 12
5533.624, 5533.625, 5533.626, 5533.627, 5533.628, 5533.629, 13
5533.645, 5533.646, 5533.688, 5533.752, 5533.768, 5533.769, 14
5533.831, 5533.832, 5533.901, 5533.902, and 5533.961 of the 15
Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:16

       Sec. 5533.051. In addition to the designations of the road 17
known as United States route twenty-three in section 5533.05 of 18
the Revised Code, the portion of that road running in a north and 19
south direction, commencing at the boundary of Franklin and 20
Delaware counties and extending to the municipal corporation of 21
Delaware, and also the portion of that road located in Scioto 22
county, from mile marker number three to mile marker number ten,23
shall be known as the "Branch Rickey Memorial Highway."24

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 25
along each designated portion of the highway indicating its name.26

       Sec. 5533.104.  In addition to the designation in section 27
5533.10 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 28
United States route number fifty, commencing at the point where 29
the road that carries the designations of both that United States 30
route and United States route number thirty-five south of the 31
municipal corporation of Chillicothe diverges and proceeding in a 32
southeasterly direction to the intersection of United States route 33
fifty and state route number three hundred twenty-seven within 34
Ross county only, shall be known as the "Lance Cpl. Aaron Reed 35
Memorial Highway."36

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 37
along the highway indicating its name. 38

       Sec. 5533.221. That portion of the road known as state route 39
number one hundred four, running in a northerly and southerly 40
direction within Ross county only, between the intersection of 41
that state route and Williamsport pike in the north and the 42
intersection of that state route and Pennyroyal road in the south, 43
shall be known as the "David A. Gibson Memorial Highway."44

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 45
along the highway indicating its name.46

       Sec. 5533.254. That portion of the road known as state route 47
two hundred sixty-four located within Hamilton county, commencing 48
at the municipal corporation of Cleves and extending in an 49
easterly direction to the intersection of that route with South 50
road, shall be known as the "Sergeant David Kreuter Memorial 51
Highway."52

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 53
along the highway indicating its name. 54

       Sec. 5533.301.  In addition to the designations in sections 55
5533.09 and 5533.30 of the Revised Code, the road known as 56
interstate route number seventy, running in an easterly and 57
westerly direction within Belmont county between exit number two 58
hundred eight and exit number two hundred thirteen, also shall be 59
known as the "Staff Sgt. Jesse Ault Memorial Highway."60

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 61
along the highway indicating its name. 62

       Sec. 5533.321.  In addition to the respective designations in 63
sections 5533.09 and 5533.32 of the Revised Code and any other 64
name prescribed in the Revised Code or otherwise, that portion of 65
the highway known as interstate route number seventy-one, 66
commencing at mile marker one hundred ninety-six and proceeding in 67
a northerly direction to mile marker two hundred one within Wayne 68
county only, shall be known as the "Army 1st Lieutenant John 69
Runkle Memorial Highway."70

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 71
along the highway indicating its name.72

       Sec. 5533.322.  In addition to any other name prescribed in 73
the Revised Code or otherwise, that portion of the highway known 74
as interstate route number seventy-one, running in a northerly and 75
southerly direction, through the municipal corporation of Grove 76
City, within Jackson township, in Franklin county, between 77
Stringtown road and state route six hundred sixty-five, shall be 78
known as the "Master Sergeant Shawn T. Hannon Memorial Highway."79

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 80
along the highway indicating its name.81

       Sec. 5533.356. That portion of the road known as United 82
States route number two hundred fifty, commencing at the 83
intersection of that United States route and county road number 84
seven hundred fifty-eight and proceeding in a southerly direction 85
to the intersection of that United States route and township road 86
number eight hundred fifty-six, within Ashland county only, shall 87
be known as the "Sheriff's Lieutenant John P. Gisclon Memorial 88
Highway."89

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 90
along the highway indicating its name.91

       Sec. 5533.377.  That portion of the road known as state route 92
number thirty-nine, commencing at the intersection of that state 93
route and ridge avenue northeast within the municipal corporation 94
of New Philadelphia and proceeding in an easterly direction to the 95
intersection of that state route and tall timber road northeast, 96
within Tuscarawas county only, shall be known as the "Lance 97
Corporal Peter James Clore Memorial Highway."98

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 99
along the highway indicating its name.100

       Sec. 5533.378. That portion of the road known as state route 101
number one hundred seventy-two, commencing at the intersection of 102
that route and Jackson avenue and proceeding in an easterly 103
direction to the intersection of that route and Perry drive within 104
Stark county only, shall be known as the "U.S.M.C. Sgt. Daniel J. 105
Patron Memorial Highway."106

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 107
along the highway indicating its name.108

       Sec. 5533.379. That portion of the road known as state route 109
number seven hundred seventy-two, commencing at the boundary of 110
Pike county and Ross county and proceeding in a northerly 111
direction to the boundary of Chillicothe in Ross county, shall be 112
known as the "Staff Sergeant Joshua Gire Memorial Highway." 113

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 114
along the highway indicating its name. 115

       Sec. 5533.461.  In addition to the designation of the road 116
known as United States route number fifty-two in section 5533.46 117
of the Revised Code, that portion of United States route number 118
fifty-two located in Scioto county from mile marker number 119
twenty-six to mile marker number thirty-one, also shall be known 120
as the "U.S.M.C. LCpl Jonathan Etterling Memorial Highway."121

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 122
along the highway indicating its name.123

       Sec. 5533.624. In addition to the designation in section 124
5533.20 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 125
state route number forty-one, commencing at the intersection of 126
that state route and state route number thirty-two and proceeding 127
in a northerly direction to the intersection of state route 128
forty-one and Shaker Run road in the village of Peebles in Adams 129
county only, shall be known as the "LCpl. Luke C. Scott Memorial 130
Highway."131

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 132
along the highway indicating its name.133

       Sec. 5533.625. That portion of the road known as United 134
States route number sixty-two, commencing at the intersection of 135
that United States route and county highway number 17D and 136
proceeding in a northerly direction to the intersection of that 137
United States route and state route number thirty-two in Brown 138
county only, shall be known as the "Pfc. Seth Blevins Memorial 139
Highway."140

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 141
along the highway indicating its name.142

       Sec. 5533.626.  That portion of the road known as state route 143
number forty-four, running in a northerly and southerly direction 144
and located within Marlboro township in Stark county only, shall 145
be known as the "First Lt. Ashley White-Stumpf Memorial Highway."146

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 147
along the highway indicating its name.148

       Sec. 5533.627.  That portion of the road known as state route 149
number twenty-one, commencing at the intersection of that route 150
and Arcadia street and proceeding in a southeasterly direction to 151
the intersection of that route and Butterbridge road in Stark 152
county only, shall be known as the "Sgt. Michael Barkey Memorial 153
Highway."154

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 155
along the highway indicating its name.156

       Sec. 5533.628.  That portion of the road known as state route 157
number six hundred nineteen, commencing at the boundary of Summit 158
and Stark counties and proceeding in an easterly direction to the 159
intersection of that route and Kaufman avenue in Lake township in 160
Stark county, shall be known as the "Captain Daniel Stiles 161
Memorial Highway."162

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 163
along the highway indicating its name.164

       Sec. 5533.629. That portion of the road known as state route 165
number four hundred sixteen, commencing at the southern boundary 166
of the municipal corporation of New Philadelphia and proceeding in 167
a southerly direction to the northern boundary of the municipal 168
corporation of Tuscarawas in Tuscarawas county only, shall be 169
known as the "Sgt. James L. Smith Memorial Highway."170

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 171
along the highway indicating its name.172

       Sec. 5533.645.  That portion of the road known as state route 173
number two hundred thirty-five, located within the municipal 174
corporation of Fairborn in Greene county only, shall be known as 175
the "Army Specialist Jesse Adam Snow memorial highway."176

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 177
along the highway indicating its name.178

       Sec. 5533.646. That portion of the road known as state route 179
number forty-seven, commencing at the intersection of that state 180
route and state route number forty-nine and proceeding in an 181
easterly direction to the intersection of state route forty-seven 182
and United States route number one hundred twenty-seven in Darke 183
county only, shall be known as the "Pfc. Douglas E. Dickey 184
Memorial Highway."185

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 186
along the highway indicating its name.187

       Sec. 5533.688. That portion of the road known as state route 188
number one hundred seventy-nine, commencing at the intersection of 189
that state route and College street within the municipal 190
corporation of Hayesville and proceeding in an easterly and then 191
southeasterly and then southerly direction to the intersection of 192
that state route and township road number two thousand six hundred 193
fifty, within Ashland county only, shall be known as the 194
"Specialist Damon G. Winkleman Memorial Highway."195

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 196
along the highway indicating its name. 197

       Sec. 5533.752. That portion of the road known as United 198
States route forty-two, running in a northeasterly direction 199
between the municipal corporations of Lebanon and Waynesville in 200
Warren county, shall be known as the "Sergeant Brian Dulle 201
Memorial Highway."202

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 203
along the highway indicating its name. 204

       Sec. 5533.768. That portion of the road known as United 205
States route sixty-two, located in Stark county, commencing at the 206
intersection of that route with state route ninety-three and 207
extending in a northeasterly direction to the intersection of that 208
route with Mt. Eaton street southwest, shall be known as the "U.S. 209
Army Cpl. Zachary Grass Memorial Highway."210

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 211
along the highway indicating its name.212

       Sec. 5533.769. That portion of the road known as state route 213
one hundred seventy-two, located in Stark county, commencing at 214
the intersection of that route with Woodlawn avenue and extending 215
in a westerly direction to the intersection of that route with 216
Saratoga avenue northwest, shall be known as the "Lt. Jason S. 217
Manse Memorial Highway."218

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 219
along the highway indicating its name.220

       Sec. 5533.774. (A)(1) That portion of the road known as state 221
route one hundred four, commencing at its intersection with United 222
States route twenty-three and extending to its intersection with 223
Lockbourne road, shall be known as the "Tuskegee Airmen Memorial 224
Highway."225

       (2) In addition to the designations in sections 5533.24 and 226
5533.241 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 227
interstate route seventy-five, running throughout Ohio in a 228
northerly and southerly direction, from the Michigan border in 229
Lucas county, through the counties of Wood, Hancock, Allen, 230
Auglaize, Shelby, Miami, Montgomery, Warren, and Butler, to the 231
Kentucky border in Hamilton county, shall be known as the 232
"Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Trail."233

       (B) The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 234
alongupon the designated portion of each highway indicating its 235
name.236

       Sec. 5533.831.  That portion of state route fifty-two located 237
in southern Scioto county between mile marker number seventeen and 238
mile marker number nineteen shall be known as the "Boone Coleman 239
Memorial Highway."240

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 241
along the highway indicating its name.242

       Sec. 5533.832. That portion of the road known as state route 243
number thirteen, commencing at the intersection of that route with 244
Cassell road in Knox county and proceeding in a northerly 245
direction to the intersection of that route with Zolman road, 246
shall be known at the "Bill Burgett Highway."247

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 248
along the highway indicating its name. 249

       Sec. 5533.901.  In addition to any other name prescribed in 250
the Revised Code or otherwise, that portion of the highway known 251
as state route three hundred fifteen, running in a northerly and 252
southerly direction, through the municipal corporation of Columbus 253
in Franklin county, between Lane avenue and King avenue, shall be 254
known as the "Captain Nicholas J. Rozanski Memorial Highway."255

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 256
along the highway indicating its name.257

       Sec. 5533.902.  In addition to any other name prescribed in 258
the Revised Code or otherwise, that portion of the highway known 259
as state route three hundred fifteen, running in a northerly and 260
southerly direction, through the municipal corporation of Columbus 261
in Franklin county, between Ackerman road and West North Broadway, 262
shall be known as the "Sgt. First Class Jeffrey J. Rieck Memorial 263
Highway."264

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 265
along the highway indicating its name.266

       Sec. 5533.961.  That portion of the road known as state route 267
eighty-four, located in the municipal corporation of Mentor in 268
Lake county, commencing at the intersection of that route with 269
Broadmoor road and extending in a northeasterly direction to the 270
intersection of that route with Chillicothe road, shall be known 271
as the "Sgt. Mark T. Smykowski Memorial Highway."272

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 273
along the highway indicating its name.274

       Section 2. That existing sections 5533.051 and 5533.774 of 275
the Revised Code are hereby repealed.276
