A BILL

To enact section 4733.011 of the Revised Code to

exempt from the Professional Engineers and

2

Surveyors Law the preparation of plans or drawings

3

for a sewage treatment system or components of a

4

system and measurements concerning such a system

5

or components that are necessary to comply with

6

the Household and Small Flow On-site Sewage

7

Treatment Systems Law.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 4733.011 of the Revised Code be	9
enacted to read as follows:	10

Sec. 4733.011.  (A) As used in this section, "sewage	11
treatment system" has the same meaning as in section 3718.01 of	12
the Revised Code.	13

(B) This chapter does not apply to the preparation of plans	14
or drawings for a sewage treatment system or components of a	15
system, the measurement of area contours of a portion of land for	16
the installation or modification of a sewage treatment system or	17
components of a system, the measurement and documentation of the	18
lengths and widths of the area of a sewage treatment system or	19
components of a system, or any other measurement that is necessary	20
to comply with Chapter 3718. of the Revised Code and rules adopted	21
under it.	22
