A BILL
To enact section 5.091 of the Revised Code to declare 1
that Ohio is a "Purple Heart State."2


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1.  That section 5.091 of the Revised Code be enacted 3
to read as follows:4

       Sec. 5.091.  Ohio is declared to be a "Purple Heart State," 5
honoring our combat wounded veterans for their service and 6
sacrifice by allowing the United States of America to maintain its 7
sovereignty. Ohio is declared to be the first "Purple Heart State" 8
in the United States of America.9
