designate various memorial highways and bridges 9
and to create "Honor Our Fallen" license plates.10


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That sections 4501.21 and 5533.372 be amended and 11
sections 4503.713, 5533.102, 5533.103, 5533.252, 5533.253, 12
5533.341, 5533.353, 5533.355, 5533.373, 5533.374, 5533.375, 13
5533.376, 5533.541, 5533.591, 5533.602, 5533.603, 5533.636, 14
5533.637, 5533.638, 5533.639, 5533.687, 5533.732, 5533.763, 15
5533.764, 5533.765, 5533.766, 5533.767, 5533.791, 5533.932, 16
5533.941, and 5533.97 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as 17
follows:18

       Sec. 4501.21.  (A) There is hereby created in the state 19
treasury the license plate contribution fund. The fund shall 20
consist of all contributions paid by motor vehicle registrants and 21
collected by the registrar of motor vehicles pursuant to sections 22
4503.491, 4503.493, 4503.494, 4503.496, 4503.498, 4503.499, 23
4503.50, 4503.501, 4503.502, 4503.505, 4503.51, 4503.522, 24
4503.523, 4503.531, 4503.545, 4503.55, 4503.551, 4503.552, 25
4503.553, 4503.561, 4503.562, 4503.564, 4503.591, 4503.67, 26
4503.68, 4503.69, 4503.701, 4503.71, 4503.711, 4503.712, 4503.713,27
4503.72, 4503.73, 4503.74, 4503.75, 4503.751, 4503.85, 4503.89, 28
4503.92, and 4503.94 of the Revised Code. 29

       (B) The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 30
collects in the fund as follows: 31

        The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 32
to section 4503.491 of the Revised Code to the breast cancer fund 33
of Ohio, which shall use that money only to pay for programs that 34
provide assistance and education to Ohio breast cancer patients 35
and that improve access for such patients to quality health care 36
and clinical trials and shall not use any of the money for 37
abortion information, counseling, services, or other 38
abortion-related activities. 39

        The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 40
to section 4503.493 of the Revised Code to the autism society of 41
Ohio, which shall use the contributions for programs and autism 42
awareness efforts throughout the state. 43

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 44
receives pursuant to section 4503.494 of the Revised Code to the 45
national multiple sclerosis society for distribution in equal 46
amounts to the northwestern Ohio, Ohio buckeye, and Ohio valley 47
chapters of the national multiple sclerosis society. These 48
chapters shall use the money they receive under this section to 49
assist in paying the expenses they incur in providing services 50
directly to their clients.51

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 52
receives pursuant to section 4503.496 of the Revised Code to the 53
Ohio sickle cell and health association, which shall use the 54
contributions to help support educational, clinical, and social 55
support services for adults who have sickle cell disease.56

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 57
receives pursuant to section 4503.498 of the Revised Code to 58
special olympics Ohio, inc., which shall use the contributions for 59
its programs, charitable efforts, and other activities. 60

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 61
receives pursuant to section 4503.499 of the Revised Code to the 62
children's glioma cancer foundation, which shall use the 63
contributions for its research and other programs. 64

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 65
receives pursuant to section 4503.50 of the Revised Code to the 66
future farmers of America foundation, which shall deposit the 67
contributions into its general account to be used for educational 68
and scholarship purposes of the future farmers of America 69
foundation. 70

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 71
receives pursuant to section 4503.501 of the Revised Code to the 72
4-H youth development program of the Ohio state university 73
extension program, which shall use those contributions to pay the 74
expenses it incurs in conducting its educational activities. 75

        The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 76
to section 4503.502 of the Revised Code to the Ohio cattlemen's 77
foundation, which shall use those contributions for scholarships 78
and other educational activities. 79

       The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 80
to section 4503.505 of the Revised Code to the organization Ohio 81
region phi theta kappa, which shall use those contributions for 82
scholarships for students who are members of that organization. 83

        The registrar shall pay each contribution the registrar 84
receives pursuant to section 4503.51 of the Revised Code to the 85
university or college whose name or marking or design appears on 86
collegiate license plates that are issued to a person under that 87
section. A university or college that receives contributions from 88
the fund shall deposit the contributions into its general 89
scholarship fund. 90

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 91
receives pursuant to section 4503.522 of the Revised Code to the 92
"friends of Perry's victory and international peace memorial, 93
incorporated," a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of 94
this state, to assist that organization in paying the expenses it 95
incurs in sponsoring or holding charitable, educational, and 96
cultural events at the monument. 97

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 98
receives pursuant to section 4503.523 of the Revised Code to the 99
fairport lights foundation, which shall use the money to pay for 100
the restoration, maintenance, and preservation of the lighthouses 101
of fairport harbor. 102

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 103
receives pursuant to section 4503.531 of the Revised Code to the 104
thank you foundation, incorporated, a nonprofit corporation 105
organized under the laws of this state, to assist that 106
organization in paying for the charitable activities and programs 107
it sponsors in support of United States military personnel, 108
veterans, and their families.109

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 110
receives pursuant to section 4503.55 of the Revised Code to the 111
pro football hall of fame, which shall deposit the contributions 112
into a special bank account that it establishes and which shall be 113
separate and distinct from any other account the pro football hall 114
of fame maintains, to be used exclusively for the purpose of 115
promoting the pro football hall of fame as a travel destination. 116

        The registrar shall pay the contributions that are paid to 117
the registrar pursuant to section 4503.545 of the Revised Code to 118
the national rifle association foundation, which shall use the 119
money to pay the costs of the educational activities and programs 120
the foundation holds or sponsors in this state. 121

        The registrar shall pay to the Ohio pet fund the 122
contributions the registrar receives pursuant to section 4503.551 123
of the Revised Code and any other money from any other source, 124
including donations, gifts, and grants, that is designated by the 125
source to be paid to the Ohio pet fund. The Ohio pet fund shall 126
use the moneys it receives under this section to support programs 127
for the sterilization of dogs and cats and for educational 128
programs concerning the proper veterinary care of those animals, 129
and for expenses of the Ohio pet fund that are reasonably 130
necessary for it to obtain and maintain its tax-exempt status and 131
to perform its duties. 132

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 133
receives pursuant to section 4503.552 of the Revised Code to the 134
rock and roll hall of fame and museum, incorporated. 135

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 136
receives pursuant to section 4503.553 of the Revised Code to the 137
Ohio coalition for animals, incorporated, a nonprofit corporation. 138
Except as provided in division (B) of this section, the coalition 139
shall distribute the money to its members, and the members shall 140
use the money only to pay for educational, charitable, and other 141
programs of each coalition member that provide care for unwanted, 142
abused, and neglected horses. The Ohio coalition for animals may 143
use a portion of the money to pay for reasonable marketing costs 144
incurred in the design and promotion of the license plate and for 145
administrative costs incurred in the disbursement and management 146
of funds received under this section. 147

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 148
receives pursuant to section 4503.561 of the Revised Code to the 149
state of Ohio chapter of ducks unlimited, inc., which shall 150
deposit the contributions into a special bank account that it 151
establishes. The special bank account shall be separate and 152
distinct from any other account the state of Ohio chapter of ducks 153
unlimited, inc., maintains and shall be used exclusively for the 154
purpose of protecting, enhancing, restoring, and managing wetlands 155
and conserving wildlife habitat. The state of Ohio chapter of 156
ducks unlimited, inc., annually shall notify the registrar in 157
writing of the name, address, and account to which such payments 158
are to be made. 159

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 160
receives pursuant to section 4503.562 of the Revised Code to the 161
Mahoning river consortium, which shall use the money to pay the 162
expenses it incurs in restoring and maintaining the Mahoning river 163
watershed. 164

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 165
receives pursuant to section 4503.564 of the Revised Code to 166
Antioch college for the use of the Glen Helen ecology institute to 167
pay expenses related to the Glen Helen nature preserve.168

        The registrar shall pay to a sports commission created 169
pursuant to section 4503.591 of the Revised Code each contribution 170
the registrar receives under that section that an applicant pays 171
to obtain license plates that bear the logo of a professional 172
sports team located in the county of that sports commission and 173
that is participating in the license plate program pursuant to 174
division (E) of that section, irrespective of the county of 175
residence of an applicant. 176

        The registrar shall pay to a community charity each 177
contribution the registrar receives under section 4503.591 of the 178
Revised Code that an applicant pays to obtain license plates that 179
bear the logo of a professional sports team that is participating 180
in the license plate program pursuant to division (G) of that 181
section. 182

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 183
receives pursuant to section 4503.67 of the Revised Code to the 184
Dan Beard council of the boy scouts of America. The council shall 185
distribute all contributions in an equitable manner throughout the 186
state to regional councils of the boy scouts. 187

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 188
receives pursuant to section 4503.68 of the Revised Code to the 189
great river council of the girl scouts of the United States of 190
America. The council shall distribute all contributions in an 191
equitable manner throughout the state to regional councils of the 192
girl scouts. 193

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 194
receives pursuant to section 4503.69 of the Revised Code to the 195
Dan Beard council of the boy scouts of America. The council shall 196
distribute all contributions in an equitable manner throughout the 197
state to regional councils of the boy scouts. 198

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 199
receives pursuant to section 4503.701 of the Revised Code to the 200
Prince Hall grand lodge of free and accepted masons of Ohio, which 201
shall use the contributions for scholarship purposes.202

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 203
receives pursuant to section 4503.71 of the Revised Code to the 204
fraternal order of police of Ohio, incorporated, which shall 205
deposit the fees into its general account to be used for purposes 206
of the fraternal order of police of Ohio, incorporated. 207

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 208
receives pursuant to section 4503.711 of the Revised Code to the 209
fraternal order of police of Ohio, incorporated, which shall 210
deposit the contributions into an account that it creates to be 211
used for the purpose of advancing and protecting the law 212
enforcement profession, promoting improved law enforcement 213
methods, and teaching respect for law and order. 214

       The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 215
to section 4503.712 of the Revised Code to Ohio concerns of police 216
survivors, which shall use those contributions to provide whatever 217
assistance may be appropriate to the families of Ohio law 218
enforcement officers who are killed in the line of duty. 219

       The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 220
to section 4503.713 of the Revised Code to the greater Cleveland 221
peace officers memorial society, which shall use those 222
contributions to honor law enforcement officers who have died in 223
the line of duty and support its charitable purposes.224

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 225
receives pursuant to section 4503.72 of the Revised Code to the 226
organization known on March 31, 2003, as the Ohio CASA/GAL 227
association, a private, nonprofit corporation organized under 228
Chapter 1702. of the Revised Code. The Ohio CASA/GAL association 229
shall use these contributions to pay the expenses it incurs in 230
administering a program to secure the proper representation in the 231
courts of this state of abused, neglected, and dependent children, 232
and for the training and supervision of persons participating in 233
that program. 234

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 235
receives pursuant to section 4503.73 of the Revised Code to Wright 236
B. Flyer, incorporated, which shall deposit the contributions into 237
its general account to be used for purposes of Wright B. Flyer, 238
incorporated. 239

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 240
receives pursuant to section 4503.74 of the Revised Code to the 241
Columbus zoological park association, which shall disburse the 242
moneys to Ohio's major metropolitan zoos, as defined in section 243
4503.74 of the Revised Code, in accordance with a written 244
agreement entered into by the major metropolitan zoos. 245

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 246
receives pursuant to section 4503.75 of the Revised Code to the 247
rotary foundation, located on March 31, 2003, in Evanston, 248
Illinois, to be placed in a fund known as the permanent fund and 249
used to endow educational and humanitarian programs of the rotary 250
foundation. 251

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 252
receives pursuant to section 4503.751 of the Revised Code to the 253
Ohio association of realtors, which shall deposit the 254
contributions into a property disaster relief fund maintained 255
under the Ohio realtors charitable and education foundation.256

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 257
receives pursuant to section 4503.85 of the Revised Code to the 258
Ohio sea grant college program to be used for Lake Erie area 259
research projects. 260

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 261
receives pursuant to section 4503.89 of the Revised Code to the 262
American red cross of greater Columbus on behalf of the Ohio 263
chapters of the American red cross, which shall use the 264
contributions for disaster readiness, preparedness, and response 265
programs on a statewide basis.266

       The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 267
to section 4503.92 of the Revised Code to support our troops, 268
incorporated, a national nonprofit corporation, which shall use 269
those contributions in accordance with its articles of 270
incorporation and for the benefit of servicemembers of the armed 271
forces of the United States and their families when they are in 272
financial need. 273

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 274
receives pursuant to section 4503.94 of the Revised Code to the 275
Michelle's leading star foundation, which shall use the money 276
solely to fund the rental, lease, or purchase of the simulated 277
driving curriculum of the Michelle's leading star foundation by 278
boards of education of city, exempted village, local, and joint 279
vocational school districts.280

       (C) All investment earnings of the license plate contribution 281
fund shall be credited to the fund. Not later than the first day 282
of May of every year, the registrar shall distribute to each 283
entity described in division (B) of this section the investment 284
income the fund earned the previous calendar year. The amount of 285
such a distribution paid to an entity shall be proportionate to 286
the amount of money the entity received from the fund during the 287
previous calendar year. 288

       Sec. 4503.713. (A) The owner or lessee of any passenger car, 289
noncommercial motor vehicle, recreational vehicle, or other 290
vehicle of a class approved by the registrar of motor vehicles may 291
apply to the registrar for the registration of the vehicle and 292
issuance of "Honor Our Fallen" license plates. The application for 293
"Honor Our Fallen" license plates may be combined with a request 294
for a special reserved license plate under section 4503.40 or 295
4503.42 of the Revised Code. Upon receipt of the completed 296
application and compliance with division (B) of this section, the 297
registrar shall issue to the applicant the appropriate vehicle 298
registration, a set of "Honor Our Fallen" license plates with a 299
validation sticker, or a validation sticker alone when required by 300
section 4503.191 of the Revised Code. 301

       In addition to the letters and numbers ordinarily inscribed 302
on the license plates, "Honor Our Fallen" license plates shall be 303
inscribed with the words "Honor Our Fallen" and a design selected 304
by the greater Cleveland peace officers memorial society and 305
approved by the registrar. "Honor Our Fallen" license plates shall 306
bear county identification stickers that identify the county of 307
registration by name or number.308

       (B) "Honor Our Fallen" license plates and a validation 309
sticker or, when applicable, a validation sticker alone, shall be 310
issued upon submission by the applicant of an application for 311
registration of a motor vehicle under this section; payment of the 312
regular license tax as prescribed under section 4503.04 of the 313
Revised Code, any applicable motor vehicle tax levied under 314
Chapter 4504. of the Revised Code, any applicable additional fee 315
prescribed by section 4503.40 or 4503.42 of the Revised Code, the 316
contribution provided in division (C) of this section, and an 317
additional fee of ten dollars; and compliance with all other 318
applicable laws relating to the registration of motor vehicles.319

       (C) For each application for registration and registration 320
renewal that the registrar receives under this section, the 321
registrar shall collect a contribution of fifteen dollars. The 322
registrar shall transmit this contribution to the treasurer of 323
state for deposit in the license plate contribution fund created 324
by section 4501.21 of the Revised Code.325

       The registrar shall transmit the additional fee of ten 326
dollars described in division (B) of this section, the purpose of 327
which is to compensate the bureau of motor vehicles for additional 328
services required in issuing license plates under this section, to 329
the treasurer of state for deposit into the state treasury to the 330
credit of the bureau of motor vehicles fund created by section 331
4501.25 of the Revised Code.332

       Sec. 5533.102. In addition to the designation in section 333
5533.10 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 334
United States route number fifty, commencing at mile marker number 335
twelve and proceeding in an easterly direction to mile marker 336
number twenty-four within Highland county, shall be known as the 337
"Pfc. Zachary Gullett Memorial Highway."338

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 339
along the highway indicating its name.340

       Sec. 5533.103. In addition to the name prescribed by section 341
5533.10 of the Revised Code, that portion of the highway known as 342
United States route number fifty, located within Vinton county 343
only, shall be known as the "Ryan Seitz Memorial Highway."344

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 345
along the highway indicating its name.346

       Sec. 5533.252. The road known as state route number 347
seventy-three, within Clinton county only, shall be known as the 348
"Sgt. Steven Conover - Veterans Memorial Highway."349

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 350
along the highway indicating its name.351

       Sec. 5533.253. The road known as state route number seven 352
hundred twenty-nine, within Clinton county only, shall be known as 353
the "Lance Cpl. Brett Wightman - Veterans Memorial Highway."354

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 355
along the highway indicating its name.356

       Sec. 5533.341.  That portion of the road known as state route 357
number nine, extending in a northerly direction from the municipal 358
corporation of Hanoverton to the municipal corporation of New 359
Garden in Columbiana county, shall be known as the "Coxswain 360
Robert B. Wood Memorial Highway."361

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 362
along the highway indicating its name.363

       Sec. 5533.353.  That portion of the road known as Pearl road, 364
carrying the designations of United States route forty-two and 365
state route three, commencing at the intersection of that road 366
with Denison avenue within Cuyahoga county and extending in a 367
southerly direction to the intersection of that road with Memphis 368
avenue, shall be known as the "Lance Corporal David Mendez Ruiz 369
Memorial Highway."370

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 371
along the highway indicating its name.372

       Sec. 5533.355. That portion of state route two, running in an 373
easterly and westerly direction in Lorain county only, shall be 374
known as the "U.S. Marine Lance Corporal David R. Hall Highway."375

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 376
along the highway indicating its name.377

       Sec. 5533.372.  In addition to the designation in section 378
5533.37 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 379
interstate route number seventy-seven, commencing at mile marker 380
number one hundred sixteenthirteen and one-half and proceeding in 381
a northerly direction to mile marker number one hundred eighteen 382
and one-half, shall be known as the "Staff Sgt. Matthew J. Kuglics 383
Memorial Highway." 384

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 385
along the highway indicating its name.386

       Sec. 5533.373.  In addition to the designation in section 387
5533.37 of the Revised Code, that portion of the highway known as 388
interstate number seventy-seven, running in a northerly and 389
southerly direction within the municipal corporation of Broadview 390
Heights only, shall be known as the "Senior Airman Alecia Good 391
Memorial Highway."392

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 393
along the highway indicating its name.394

       Sec. 5533.374. In addition to the designation in section 395
5533.37 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 396
interstate route number seventy-seven, commencing at the 397
intersection of that interstate route and state route number eight 398
hundred and proceeding in a northerly direction to the 399
intersection of that interstate route and Dressler road within 400
Stark county only, shall be known as the "Heath Warner Memorial 401
Highway."402

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 403
along the highway indicating its name.404

       Sec. 5533.375. The portion of the road known as interstate 405
highway number four hundred eighty located between exits twelve 406
and thirteen shall be known as the "Army Specialist Four Robert J. 407
Urbassik Memorial Highway."408

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 409
along the highway indicating its name.410

       Sec. 5533.376.  In addition to the designation in section 411
5533.37 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 412
interstate route number seventy-seven, commencing in Tuscarawas 413
county at mile marker number seventy-nine and proceeding in a 414
northerly direction to mile marker number eighty-one, shall be 415
known as the "Army Private First Class Keith Nepsa Memorial 416
Highway."417

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 418
along the highway indicating its name.419

       Sec. 5533.541. That portion of the road known as state route 420
number seven, commencing at mile marker number thirty-one in 421
Washington county and proceeding in a northeasterly direction to 422
the boundary of Washington and Monroe counties, shall be known as 423
the "First Lt. Christopher Rutherford Memorial Highway."424

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 425
along the highway indicating its name.426

       Sec. 5533.591. That part of the road known as state route 427
seven, located within the municipal corporation of Mingo Junction 428
in Jefferson county only, shall be known as the "Captain Nick 429
Hauck Memorial Highway."430

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 431
along the highway indicating its name.432

       Sec. 5533.602.  The bridge that is part of state route number 433
eight hundred twenty-one, between mile marker number nine and mile 434
marker number ten at mile nine and fourteen-hundredths miles, near 435
the village of Caldwell in Noble county, shall be known as the 436
"Sampson Harris Memorial Bridge."437

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 438
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.439

       Sec. 5533.603.  The bridge that is part of state route number 440
eight hundred twenty-one, between mile marker number eight and 441
mile marker number nine at mile eight and four-hundredths miles, 442
near the village of Caldwell in Noble county, shall be known as 443
the "Freeman C. Thompson Memorial Bridge."444

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 445
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.446

       Sec. 5533.636.  That portion of the road known as state route 447
number six hundred nineteen, located within the municipal 448
corporation of Hartville in Stark county only, shall be known as 449
the "Sgt. 1st Class Daniel B. Crabtree Memorial Road."450

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 451
along the highway indicating its name.452

       Sec. 5533.637. The bridge spanning the Hocking River at the 453
eastern edge of the municipal corporation of Athens in Athens 454
county and being part of the highway known as United States route 455
number thirty-three, shall be known as the "Captain Robert C. Hess 456
Jr. – Veterans Bridge."457

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 458
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.459

       Sec. 5533.638. The bridge at the intersection of United 460
States route number thirty-three and state route number seven in 461
Meigs county, shall be known as the "Staff Sergeant Jimmy G. 462
Stewart – Veterans Bridge."463

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 464
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name. 465

       Sec. 5533.639. The bridge spanning the Hocking River near the 466
community of The Plains in Athens county and being part of the 467
highway known as United States route number thirty-three, shall be 468
known as the "Lt. Lloyd Thomas Memorial Bridge."469

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 470
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.471

       Sec. 5533.687. That portion of the road known as state route 472
number one hundred three, commencing at the intersection of that 473
state route and state route number fifteen and extending in a 474
westerly direction to the intersection of state route one hundred 475
three and township road number ninety-five in Wyandot county only, 476
shall be known as the "Trooper Andrew C. Baldridge Memorial 477
Highway."478

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 479
along the highway indicating its name. 480

       Sec. 5533.732. The bridge spanning state route number seven 481
hundred eleven in the municipal corporation of Youngstown, being 482
part of the road known as Burlington street, shall be known as the 483
"Dominic "Dee Dee" Modarelli Memorial Bridge."484

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 485
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.486

       Sec. 5533.763.  That portion of the road known as United 487
States route sixty-two, commencing in the village of Millwood in 488
Knox county and extending in a northeasterly direction to the 489
boundary of Knox and Holmes counties, shall be known as the "Army 490
Staff Sgt. Shamus O. Goare Memorial Highway."491

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 492
along the highway indicating its name.493

       Sec. 5533.764.  That portion of the road known as United 494
States route twenty, commencing at the boundary of Lyme and 495
Ridgefield townships in Huron county and extending in an easterly 496
direction through the village of Monroeville to the municipal 497
corporation of Norwalk, shall be known as the "Army Private Jason 498
L. Sparks Memorial Highway."499

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 500
along the highway indicating its name.501

       Sec. 5533.765. Those portions of the roads known as state 502
route numbers one hundred five and one hundred sixty-three within 503
the municipal corporation of Oak Harbor in Ottawa county only, 504
commencing at Union Cemetery on west state route one hundred five 505
and proceeding in an easterly direction past the point where that 506
state route ceases and joins state route one hundred sixty-three 507
and ending at the address eight thousand four hundred forty-four 508
west state route one hundred sixty-three, shall be known as the 509
"Army Sgt. Keith Kline Memorial Highway." 510

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 511
along the highway indicating its name. 512

       Sec. 5533.766. In addition to the designation of the road 513
known as United States route number twenty in section 5533.04 of 514
the Revised Code, that portion of United States route twenty 515
commencing at the intersection of that road and county road number 516
three hundred two in Sandusky county and proceeding in an easterly 517
direction through the municipal corporation of Bellevue to the 518
intersection of that United States route and prairie road, shall 519
be known as the "Army Sgt. Jon Martin Memorial Highway."520

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 521
along the highway indicating its name.522

       Sec. 5533.767. That portion of the road known as United 523
States route number thirty, commencing at the boundary between 524
Canton and Osnaburg townships and proceeding in an easterly 525
direction to the boundary between Osnaburg township and the 526
municipal corporation of East Canton within Stark county only, 527
shall be known as the "Staff Sgt. Kevin J. Kessler Memorial 528
Highway."529

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 530
along the highway indicating its name.531

       Sec. 5533.791. In addition to the designation of the road 532
known as state route number four in section 5533.14 of the Revised 533
Code, that portion of state route number four, running in a 534
northerly and southerly direction within the municipal corporation 535
of Fairfield only, commencing at its intersection with south 536
Gilmore road in the south and proceeding in a northerly direction 537
to its intersection with Symmes road in the north, shall be known 538
as the "Lance Corporal Taylor Prazynski Memorial Highway."539

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 540
along the highway indicating its name.541

       Sec. 5533.932. That portion of the road known as interstate 542
route number four hundred eighty, located within the municipal 543
corporation of Garfield Heights in Cuyahoga county only, shall be 544
known as the "Corporal Brad Anthony Davis Memorial Highway."545

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 546
along the highway indicating its name.547

       Sec. 5533.941. That part of the road known as state route 548
number one hundred seventy, from the municipal corporation of 549
Calcutta in Columbiana county and extending in a northeasterly 550
direction to the intersection of that state route and the road 551
known as Duke Vodrey road, shall be known as the "Cpl. Kenneth 552
Tyler Butler Memorial Highway."553

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 554
along the highway indicating its name.555

       Sec. 5533.97. That portion of the road known as United States 556
route number three hundred twenty-two, located within the 557
municipal corporation of Orwell in Ashtabula county only, shall be 558
known as the "Sgt. Kurt D. Schamberg, Orwell Veterans Highway."559

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 560
along the highway indicating its name.561

       Section 2.  That existing sections 4501.21 and 5533.372 of 562
the Revised Code are hereby repealed.563
