To amend sections 4501.21 and 5533.372 and to enact 1

and 5533.97 of the Revised Code to designate 8
various memorial highways and bridges and to 9
create "Honor Our Fallen" license plates.10


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That sections 4501.21 and 5533.372 be amended and 11
sections 4503.713, 5533.102, 5533.103, 5533.252, 5533.253, 12
5533.341, 5533.353, 5533.355, 5533.373, 5533.374, 5533.375, 13
5533.376, 5533.541, 5533.591, 5533.602, 5533.603, 5533.636, 14
5533.637, 5533.638, 5533.639, 5533.687, 5533.732, 5533.763, 15
5533.764, 5533.765, 5533.766, 5533.791, 5533.932, 5533.941, and 16
5533.97 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:17

       Sec. 4501.21.  (A) There is hereby created in the state 18
treasury the license plate contribution fund. The fund shall 19
consist of all contributions paid by motor vehicle registrants and 20
collected by the registrar of motor vehicles pursuant to sections 21
4503.491, 4503.493, 4503.494, 4503.496, 4503.498, 4503.499, 22
4503.50, 4503.501, 4503.502, 4503.505, 4503.51, 4503.522, 23
4503.523, 4503.531, 4503.545, 4503.55, 4503.551, 4503.552, 24
4503.553, 4503.561, 4503.562, 4503.564, 4503.591, 4503.67, 25
4503.68, 4503.69, 4503.701, 4503.71, 4503.711, 4503.712, 4503.713,26
4503.72, 4503.73, 4503.74, 4503.75, 4503.751, 4503.85, 4503.89, 27
4503.92, and 4503.94 of the Revised Code. 28

       (B) The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 29
collects in the fund as follows: 30

        The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 31
to section 4503.491 of the Revised Code to the breast cancer fund 32
of Ohio, which shall use that money only to pay for programs that 33
provide assistance and education to Ohio breast cancer patients 34
and that improve access for such patients to quality health care 35
and clinical trials and shall not use any of the money for 36
abortion information, counseling, services, or other 37
abortion-related activities. 38

        The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 39
to section 4503.493 of the Revised Code to the autism society of 40
Ohio, which shall use the contributions for programs and autism 41
awareness efforts throughout the state. 42

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 43
receives pursuant to section 4503.494 of the Revised Code to the 44
national multiple sclerosis society for distribution in equal 45
amounts to the northwestern Ohio, Ohio buckeye, and Ohio valley 46
chapters of the national multiple sclerosis society. These 47
chapters shall use the money they receive under this section to 48
assist in paying the expenses they incur in providing services 49
directly to their clients.50

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 51
receives pursuant to section 4503.496 of the Revised Code to the 52
Ohio sickle cell and health association, which shall use the 53
contributions to help support educational, clinical, and social 54
support services for adults who have sickle cell disease.55

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 56
receives pursuant to section 4503.498 of the Revised Code to 57
special olympics Ohio, inc., which shall use the contributions for 58
its programs, charitable efforts, and other activities. 59

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 60
receives pursuant to section 4503.499 of the Revised Code to the 61
children's glioma cancer foundation, which shall use the 62
contributions for its research and other programs. 63

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 64
receives pursuant to section 4503.50 of the Revised Code to the 65
future farmers of America foundation, which shall deposit the 66
contributions into its general account to be used for educational 67
and scholarship purposes of the future farmers of America 68
foundation. 69

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 70
receives pursuant to section 4503.501 of the Revised Code to the 71
4-H youth development program of the Ohio state university 72
extension program, which shall use those contributions to pay the 73
expenses it incurs in conducting its educational activities. 74

        The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 75
to section 4503.502 of the Revised Code to the Ohio cattlemen's 76
foundation, which shall use those contributions for scholarships 77
and other educational activities. 78

       The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 79
to section 4503.505 of the Revised Code to the organization Ohio 80
region phi theta kappa, which shall use those contributions for 81
scholarships for students who are members of that organization. 82

        The registrar shall pay each contribution the registrar 83
receives pursuant to section 4503.51 of the Revised Code to the 84
university or college whose name or marking or design appears on 85
collegiate license plates that are issued to a person under that 86
section. A university or college that receives contributions from 87
the fund shall deposit the contributions into its general 88
scholarship fund. 89

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 90
receives pursuant to section 4503.522 of the Revised Code to the 91
"friends of Perry's victory and international peace memorial, 92
incorporated," a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of 93
this state, to assist that organization in paying the expenses it 94
incurs in sponsoring or holding charitable, educational, and 95
cultural events at the monument. 96

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 97
receives pursuant to section 4503.523 of the Revised Code to the 98
fairport lights foundation, which shall use the money to pay for 99
the restoration, maintenance, and preservation of the lighthouses 100
of fairport harbor. 101

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 102
receives pursuant to section 4503.531 of the Revised Code to the 103
thank you foundation, incorporated, a nonprofit corporation 104
organized under the laws of this state, to assist that 105
organization in paying for the charitable activities and programs 106
it sponsors in support of United States military personnel, 107
veterans, and their families.108

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 109
receives pursuant to section 4503.55 of the Revised Code to the 110
pro football hall of fame, which shall deposit the contributions 111
into a special bank account that it establishes and which shall be 112
separate and distinct from any other account the pro football hall 113
of fame maintains, to be used exclusively for the purpose of 114
promoting the pro football hall of fame as a travel destination. 115

        The registrar shall pay the contributions that are paid to 116
the registrar pursuant to section 4503.545 of the Revised Code to 117
the national rifle association foundation, which shall use the 118
money to pay the costs of the educational activities and programs 119
the foundation holds or sponsors in this state. 120

        The registrar shall pay to the Ohio pet fund the 121
contributions the registrar receives pursuant to section 4503.551 122
of the Revised Code and any other money from any other source, 123
including donations, gifts, and grants, that is designated by the 124
source to be paid to the Ohio pet fund. The Ohio pet fund shall 125
use the moneys it receives under this section to support programs 126
for the sterilization of dogs and cats and for educational 127
programs concerning the proper veterinary care of those animals, 128
and for expenses of the Ohio pet fund that are reasonably 129
necessary for it to obtain and maintain its tax-exempt status and 130
to perform its duties. 131

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 132
receives pursuant to section 4503.552 of the Revised Code to the 133
rock and roll hall of fame and museum, incorporated. 134

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 135
receives pursuant to section 4503.553 of the Revised Code to the 136
Ohio coalition for animals, incorporated, a nonprofit corporation. 137
Except as provided in division (B) of this section, the coalition 138
shall distribute the money to its members, and the members shall 139
use the money only to pay for educational, charitable, and other 140
programs of each coalition member that provide care for unwanted, 141
abused, and neglected horses. The Ohio coalition for animals may 142
use a portion of the money to pay for reasonable marketing costs 143
incurred in the design and promotion of the license plate and for 144
administrative costs incurred in the disbursement and management 145
of funds received under this section. 146

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 147
receives pursuant to section 4503.561 of the Revised Code to the 148
state of Ohio chapter of ducks unlimited, inc., which shall 149
deposit the contributions into a special bank account that it 150
establishes. The special bank account shall be separate and 151
distinct from any other account the state of Ohio chapter of ducks 152
unlimited, inc., maintains and shall be used exclusively for the 153
purpose of protecting, enhancing, restoring, and managing wetlands 154
and conserving wildlife habitat. The state of Ohio chapter of 155
ducks unlimited, inc., annually shall notify the registrar in 156
writing of the name, address, and account to which such payments 157
are to be made. 158

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 159
receives pursuant to section 4503.562 of the Revised Code to the 160
Mahoning river consortium, which shall use the money to pay the 161
expenses it incurs in restoring and maintaining the Mahoning river 162
watershed. 163

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 164
receives pursuant to section 4503.564 of the Revised Code to 165
Antioch college for the use of the Glen Helen ecology institute to 166
pay expenses related to the Glen Helen nature preserve.167

        The registrar shall pay to a sports commission created 168
pursuant to section 4503.591 of the Revised Code each contribution 169
the registrar receives under that section that an applicant pays 170
to obtain license plates that bear the logo of a professional 171
sports team located in the county of that sports commission and 172
that is participating in the license plate program pursuant to 173
division (E) of that section, irrespective of the county of 174
residence of an applicant. 175

        The registrar shall pay to a community charity each 176
contribution the registrar receives under section 4503.591 of the 177
Revised Code that an applicant pays to obtain license plates that 178
bear the logo of a professional sports team that is participating 179
in the license plate program pursuant to division (G) of that 180
section. 181

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 182
receives pursuant to section 4503.67 of the Revised Code to the 183
Dan Beard council of the boy scouts of America. The council shall 184
distribute all contributions in an equitable manner throughout the 185
state to regional councils of the boy scouts. 186

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 187
receives pursuant to section 4503.68 of the Revised Code to the 188
great river council of the girl scouts of the United States of 189
America. The council shall distribute all contributions in an 190
equitable manner throughout the state to regional councils of the 191
girl scouts. 192

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 193
receives pursuant to section 4503.69 of the Revised Code to the 194
Dan Beard council of the boy scouts of America. The council shall 195
distribute all contributions in an equitable manner throughout the 196
state to regional councils of the boy scouts. 197

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 198
receives pursuant to section 4503.701 of the Revised Code to the 199
Prince Hall grand lodge of free and accepted masons of Ohio, which 200
shall use the contributions for scholarship purposes.201

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 202
receives pursuant to section 4503.71 of the Revised Code to the 203
fraternal order of police of Ohio, incorporated, which shall 204
deposit the fees into its general account to be used for purposes 205
of the fraternal order of police of Ohio, incorporated. 206

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 207
receives pursuant to section 4503.711 of the Revised Code to the 208
fraternal order of police of Ohio, incorporated, which shall 209
deposit the contributions into an account that it creates to be 210
used for the purpose of advancing and protecting the law 211
enforcement profession, promoting improved law enforcement 212
methods, and teaching respect for law and order. 213

       The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 214
to section 4503.712 of the Revised Code to Ohio concerns of police 215
survivors, which shall use those contributions to provide whatever 216
assistance may be appropriate to the families of Ohio law 217
enforcement officers who are killed in the line of duty. 218

       The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 219
to section 4503.713 of the Revised Code to the greater Cleveland 220
peace officers memorial society, which shall use those 221
contributions to honor law enforcement officers who have died in 222
the line of duty and support its charitable purposes.223

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 224
receives pursuant to section 4503.72 of the Revised Code to the 225
organization known on March 31, 2003, as the Ohio CASA/GAL 226
association, a private, nonprofit corporation organized under 227
Chapter 1702. of the Revised Code. The Ohio CASA/GAL association 228
shall use these contributions to pay the expenses it incurs in 229
administering a program to secure the proper representation in the 230
courts of this state of abused, neglected, and dependent children, 231
and for the training and supervision of persons participating in 232
that program. 233

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 234
receives pursuant to section 4503.73 of the Revised Code to Wright 235
B. Flyer, incorporated, which shall deposit the contributions into 236
its general account to be used for purposes of Wright B. Flyer, 237
incorporated. 238

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 239
receives pursuant to section 4503.74 of the Revised Code to the 240
Columbus zoological park association, which shall disburse the 241
moneys to Ohio's major metropolitan zoos, as defined in section 242
4503.74 of the Revised Code, in accordance with a written 243
agreement entered into by the major metropolitan zoos. 244

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 245
receives pursuant to section 4503.75 of the Revised Code to the 246
rotary foundation, located on March 31, 2003, in Evanston, 247
Illinois, to be placed in a fund known as the permanent fund and 248
used to endow educational and humanitarian programs of the rotary 249
foundation. 250

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 251
receives pursuant to section 4503.751 of the Revised Code to the 252
Ohio association of realtors, which shall deposit the 253
contributions into a property disaster relief fund maintained 254
under the Ohio realtors charitable and education foundation.255

        The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 256
receives pursuant to section 4503.85 of the Revised Code to the 257
Ohio sea grant college program to be used for Lake Erie area 258
research projects. 259

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 260
receives pursuant to section 4503.89 of the Revised Code to the 261
American red cross of greater Columbus on behalf of the Ohio 262
chapters of the American red cross, which shall use the 263
contributions for disaster readiness, preparedness, and response 264
programs on a statewide basis.265

       The registrar shall pay the contributions received pursuant 266
to section 4503.92 of the Revised Code to support our troops, 267
incorporated, a national nonprofit corporation, which shall use 268
those contributions in accordance with its articles of 269
incorporation and for the benefit of servicemembers of the armed 270
forces of the United States and their families when they are in 271
financial need. 272

       The registrar shall pay the contributions the registrar 273
receives pursuant to section 4503.94 of the Revised Code to the 274
Michelle's leading star foundation, which shall use the money 275
solely to fund the rental, lease, or purchase of the simulated 276
driving curriculum of the Michelle's leading star foundation by 277
boards of education of city, exempted village, local, and joint 278
vocational school districts.279

       (C) All investment earnings of the license plate contribution 280
fund shall be credited to the fund. Not later than the first day 281
of May of every year, the registrar shall distribute to each 282
entity described in division (B) of this section the investment 283
income the fund earned the previous calendar year. The amount of 284
such a distribution paid to an entity shall be proportionate to 285
the amount of money the entity received from the fund during the 286
previous calendar year. 287

       Sec. 4503.713. (A) The owner or lessee of any passenger car, 288
noncommercial motor vehicle, recreational vehicle, or other 289
vehicle of a class approved by the registrar of motor vehicles may 290
apply to the registrar for the registration of the vehicle and 291
issuance of "Honor Our Fallen" license plates. The application for 292
"Honor Our Fallen" license plates may be combined with a request 293
for a special reserved license plate under section 4503.40 or 294
4503.42 of the Revised Code. Upon receipt of the completed 295
application and compliance with division (B) of this section, the 296
registrar shall issue to the applicant the appropriate vehicle 297
registration, a set of "Honor Our Fallen" license plates with a 298
validation sticker, or a validation sticker alone when required by 299
section 4503.191 of the Revised Code. 300

       In addition to the letters and numbers ordinarily inscribed 301
on the license plates, "Honor Our Fallen" license plates shall be 302
inscribed with the words "Honor Our Fallen" and a design selected 303
by the greater Cleveland peace officers memorial society and 304
approved by the registrar. "Honor Our Fallen" license plates shall 305
bear county identification stickers that identify the county of 306
registration by name or number.307

       (B) "Honor Our Fallen" license plates and a validation 308
sticker or, when applicable, a validation sticker alone, shall be 309
issued upon submission by the applicant of an application for 310
registration of a motor vehicle under this section; payment of the 311
regular license tax as prescribed under section 4503.04 of the 312
Revised Code, any applicable motor vehicle tax levied under 313
Chapter 4504. of the Revised Code, any applicable additional fee 314
prescribed by section 4503.40 or 4503.42 of the Revised Code, the 315
contribution provided in division (C) of this section, and an 316
additional fee of ten dollars; and compliance with all other 317
applicable laws relating to the registration of motor vehicles.318

       (C) For each application for registration and registration 319
renewal that the registrar receives under this section, the 320
registrar shall collect a contribution of fifteen dollars. The 321
registrar shall transmit this contribution to the treasurer of 322
state for deposit in the license plate contribution fund created 323
by section 4501.21 of the Revised Code.324

       The registrar shall transmit the additional fee of ten 325
dollars described in division (B) of this section, the purpose of 326
which is to compensate the bureau of motor vehicles for additional 327
services required in issuing license plates under this section, to 328
the treasurer of state for deposit into the state treasury to the 329
credit of the bureau of motor vehicles fund created by section 330
4501.25 of the Revised Code.331

       Sec. 5533.102. In addition to the designation in section 332
5533.10 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 333
United States route number fifty, commencing at mile marker number 334
twelve and proceeding in an easterly direction to mile marker 335
number twenty-four within Highland county, shall be known as the 336
"Pfc. Zachary Gullett Memorial Highway."337

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 338
along the highway indicating its name.339

       Sec. 5533.103. In addition to the name prescribed by section 340
5533.10 of the Revised Code, that portion of the highway known as 341
United States route number fifty, located within Vinton county 342
only, shall be known as the "Ryan Seitz Memorial Highway."343

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 344
along the highway indicating its name.345

       Sec. 5533.252. The road known as state route number 346
seventy-three, within Clinton county only, shall be known as the 347
"Sgt. Steven Conover - Veterans Memorial Highway."348

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 349
along the highway indicating its name.350

       Sec. 5533.253. The road known as state route number seven 351
hundred twenty-nine, within Clinton county only, shall be known as 352
the "Lance Cpl. Brett Wightman - Veterans Memorial Highway."353

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 354
along the highway indicating its name.355

       Sec. 5533.341.  That portion of the road known as state route 356
number nine, extending in a northerly direction from the municipal 357
corporation of Hanoverton to the municipal corporation of New 358
Garden in Columbiana county, shall be known as the "Coxswain 359
Robert B. Wood Memorial Highway."360

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 361
along the highway indicating its name.362

       Sec. 5533.353.  That portion of the road known as Pearl road, 363
carrying the designations of United States route forty-two and 364
state route three, commencing at the intersection of that road 365
with Denison avenue within Cuyahoga county and extending in a 366
southerly direction to the intersection of that road with Memphis 367
avenue, shall be known as the "Lance Corporal David Mendez Ruiz 368
Memorial Highway."369

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 370
along the highway indicating its name.371

       Sec. 5533.355. That portion of state route two, running in an 372
easterly and westerly direction in Lorain county only, shall be 373
known as the "U.S. Marine Lance Corporal David R. Hall Highway."374

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 375
along the highway indicating its name.376

       Sec. 5533.372.  In addition to the designation in section 377
5533.37 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 378
interstate route number seventy-seven, commencing at mile marker 379
number one hundred sixteenthirteen and one-half and proceeding in 380
a northerly direction to mile marker number one hundred eighteen 381
and one-half, shall be known as the "Staff Sgt. Matthew J. Kuglics 382
Memorial Highway." 383

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 384
along the highway indicating its name.385

       Sec. 5533.373.  In addition to the designation in section 386
5533.37 of the Revised Code, that portion of the highway known as 387
interstate number seventy-seven, running in a northerly and 388
southerly direction within the municipal corporation of Broadview 389
Heights only, shall be known as the "Senior Airman Alecia Good 390
Memorial Highway."391

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 392
along the highway indicating its name.393

       Sec. 5533.374. In addition to the designation in section 394
5533.37 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 395
interstate route number seventy-seven, commencing at the 396
intersection of that interstate route and state route number eight 397
hundred and proceeding in a northerly direction to the 398
intersection of that interstate route and Dressler road within 399
Stark county only, shall be known as the "Heath Warner Memorial 400
Highway."401

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 402
along the highway indicating its name.403

       Sec. 5533.375. The portion of the road known as interstate 404
highway number four hundred eighty located between exits twelve 405
and thirteen shall be known as the "Army Specialist Four Robert J. 406
Urbassik Memorial Highway."407

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 408
along the highway indicating its name.409

       Sec. 5533.376.  In addition to the designation in section 410
5533.37 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as 411
interstate route number seventy-seven, commencing in Tuscarawas 412
county at mile marker number seventy-nine and proceeding in a 413
northerly direction to mile marker number eighty-one, shall be 414
known as the "Army Private First Class Keith Nepsa Memorial 415
Highway."416

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 417
along the highway indicating its name.418

       Sec. 5533.541. That portion of the road known as state route 419
number seven, commencing at mile marker number thirty-one in 420
Washington county and proceeding in a northeasterly direction to 421
the boundary of Washington and Monroe counties, shall be known as 422
the "First Lt. Christopher Rutherford Memorial Highway."423

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 424
along the highway indicating its name.425

       Sec. 5533.591. That part of the road known as state route 426
seven, located within the municipal corporation of Mingo Junction 427
in Jefferson county only, shall be known as the "Captain Nick 428
Hauck Memorial Highway."429

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 430
along the highway indicating its name.431

       Sec. 5533.602.  The bridge that is part of state route number 432
eight hundred twenty-one, between mile marker number nine and mile 433
marker number ten at mile nine and fourteen-hundredths miles, near 434
the village of Caldwell in Noble county, shall be known as the 435
"Sampson Harris Memorial Bridge."436

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 437
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.438

       Sec. 5533.603.  The bridge that is part of state route number 439
eight hundred twenty-one, between mile marker number eight and 440
mile marker number nine at mile eight and four-hundredths miles, 441
near the village of Caldwell in Noble county, shall be known as 442
the "Freeman C. Thompson Memorial Bridge."443

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 444
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.445

       Sec. 5533.636.  That portion of the road known as state route 446
number six hundred nineteen, located within the municipal 447
corporation of Hartville in Stark county only, shall be known as 448
the "Sgt. 1st Class Daniel B. Crabtree Memorial Road."449

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 450
along the highway indicating its name.451

       Sec. 5533.637. The bridge spanning the Hocking River at the 452
eastern edge of the municipal corporation of Athens in Athens 453
county and being part of the highway known as United States route 454
number thirty-three, shall be known as the "Captain Robert C. Hess 455
Jr. – Veterans Bridge."456

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 457
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.458

       Sec. 5533.638. The bridge at the intersection of United 459
States route number thirty-three and state route number seven in 460
Meigs county, shall be known as the "Staff Sergeant Jimmy G. 461
Stewart – Veterans Bridge."462

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 463
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name. 464

       Sec. 5533.639. The bridge spanning the Hocking River near the 465
community of The Plains in Athens county and being part of the 466
highway known as United States route number thirty-three, shall be 467
known as the "Lt. Lloyd Thomas Memorial Bridge."468

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 469
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.470

       Sec. 5533.687. That portion of the road known as state route 471
number one hundred three, commencing at the intersection of that 472
state route and state route number fifteen and extending in a 473
westerly direction to the intersection of state route one hundred 474
three and township road number ninety-five in Wyandot county only, 475
shall be known as the "Trooper Andrew C. Baldridge Memorial 476
Highway."477

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 478
along the highway indicating its name. 479

       Sec. 5533.732. The bridge spanning state route number seven 480
hundred eleven in the municipal corporation of Youngstown, being 481
part of the road known as Burlington street, shall be known as the 482
"Dominic "Dee Dee" Modarelli Memorial Bridge."483

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 484
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.485

       Sec. 5533.763.  That portion of the road known as United 486
States route sixty-two, commencing in the village of Millwood in 487
Knox county and extending in a northeasterly direction to the 488
boundary of Knox and Holmes counties, shall be known as the "Army 489
Staff Sgt. Shamus O. Goare Memorial Highway."490

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 491
along the highway indicating its name.492

       Sec. 5533.764.  That portion of the road known as United 493
States route twenty, commencing at the boundary of Lyme and 494
Ridgefield townships in Huron county and extending in an easterly 495
direction through the village of Monroeville to the municipal 496
corporation of Norwalk, shall be known as the "Army Private Jason 497
L. Sparks Memorial Highway."498

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 499
along the highway indicating its name.500

       Sec. 5533.765. Those portions of the roads known as state 501
route numbers one hundred five and one hundred sixty-three within 502
the municipal corporation of Oak Harbor in Ottawa county only, 503
commencing at Union Cemetery on west state route one hundred five 504
and proceeding in an easterly direction past the point where that 505
state route ceases and joins state route one hundred sixty-three 506
and ending at the address eight thousand four hundred forty-four 507
west state route one hundred sixty-three, shall be known as the 508
"Army Sgt. Keith Kline Memorial Highway." 509

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 510
along the highway indicating its name. 511

       Sec. 5533.766. In addition to the designation of the road 512
known as United States route number twenty in section 5533.04 of 513
the Revised Code, that portion of United States route twenty 514
commencing at the intersection of that road and county road number 515
three hundred two in Sandusky county and proceeding in an easterly 516
direction through the municipal corporation of Bellevue to the 517
intersection of that United States route and prairie road, shall 518
be known as the "Army Sgt. Jon Martin Memorial Highway."519

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 520
along the highway indicating its name.521

       Sec. 5533.791. In addition to the designation of the road 522
known as state route number four in section 5533.14 of the Revised 523
Code, that portion of state route number four, running in a 524
northerly and southerly direction within the municipal corporation 525
of Fairfield only, commencing at its intersection with south 526
Gilmore road in the south and proceeding in a northerly direction 527
to its intersection with Symmes road in the north, shall be known 528
as the "Lance Corporal Taylor Prazynski Memorial Highway."529

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 530
along the highway indicating its name.531

       Sec. 5533.932. That portion of the road known as interstate 532
route number four hundred eighty, located within the municipal 533
corporation of Garfield Heights in Cuyahoga county only, shall be 534
known as the "Corporal Brad Anthony Davis Memorial Highway."535

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 536
along the highway indicating its name.537

       Sec. 5533.941. That part of the road known as state route 538
number one hundred seventy, from the municipal corporation of 539
Calcutta in Columbiana county and extending in a northeasterly 540
direction to the intersection of that state route and the road 541
known as Duke Vodrey road, shall be known as the "Cpl. Kenneth 542
Tyler Butler Memorial Highway."543

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 544
along the highway indicating its name.545

       Sec. 5533.97. That portion of the road known as United States 546
route number three hundred twenty-two, located within the 547
municipal corporation of Orwell in Ashtabula county only, shall be 548
known as the "Sgt. Kurt D. Schamberg, Orwell Veterans Highway."549

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 550
along the highway indicating its name.551

       Section 2.  That existing sections 4501.21 and 5533.372 of 552
the Revised Code are hereby repealed.553
