To enact section 5533.041 of the Revised Code to | 1 |
designate a portion of United States Route 20 and | 2 |
certain streets in Painesville as the "James A. | 3 |
Garfield State Historic Corridor." | 4 |
Section 1. That section 5533.041 of the Revised Code be | 5 |
enacted to read as follows: | 6 |
Sec. 5533.041. In addition to any other name prescribed in | 7 |
the Revised Code or otherwise, the following highways and streets | 8 |
shall be known collectively as the "James A. Garfield State | 9 |
Historic Corridor": | 10 |
(A) The portion of the road known as United States route | 11 |
number twenty, commencing at Cleveland public square in Cuyahoga | 12 |
county and proceeding in an easterly and then northeasterly | 13 |
direction to the intersection of that United States route with | 14 |
watson street in the municipal corporation of Painesville, where | 15 |
that portion of United States route twenty is known as mentor | 16 |
avenue; | 17 |
(B) In the municipal corporation of Painesville, all of the | 18 |
following streets: | 19 |
(1) Mentor avenue, which does not carry the designation of | 20 |
United States route twenty, commencing at the intersection of that | 21 |
avenue and watson street and proceeding in an northeasterly | 22 |
direction to the intersection of that avenue and liberty street; | 23 |
(2) Liberty street, commencing at the intersection of that | 24 |
street and north park place and proceeding in a southeasterly | 25 |
direction to the intersection of that street and south park place; | 26 |
(3) North park place; | 27 |
(4) South park place. | 28 |
The director of transportation may erect suitable markers | 29 |
along the highway and streets indicating its name. | 30 |
