Section 1. That section 3345.46 of the Revised Code be | 6 |
enacted to read as follows: | 7 |
Sec. 3345.46. (A) As used in this section: | 8 |
(1) "Full course load" shall be defined by the board of | 9 |
trustees of each state institution of higher education. | 10 |
(2) "Overload fee" means a fee or increased tuition rate | 11 |
charged to students who enroll in courses for a total number of | 12 |
credit hours in excess of a full course load. | 13 |
(3) "State institution of higher education" has the same | 14 |
meaning as in section 3345.011 of the Revised Code. | 15 |
(B) No state institution of higher education shall charge an | 16 |
overload fee to any student, so long as that student is enrolled | 17 |
in not more than eighteen credit hours of courses per semester, or | 18 |
the equivalent number of credit hours per quarter as determined by | 19 |
the board of trustees of the institution. | 20 |
