A BILL
To enact section 5.2279 of the Revised Code to 1
designate October as "Manufacturing Month."2


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That section 5.2279 of the Revised Code be enacted 3
to read as follows:4

       Sec. 5.2279. The month of October is designated as 5
"Manufacturing Month" to engage and inform students, parents, 6
educators, media, customers, suppliers, and the general public 7
throughout the region about, and improve the perception of, 8
manufacturing careers and the value of manufacturing to the 9
economy of the United States by increasing awareness, encouraging 10
activities, and introducing real career opportunities, training, 11
and resources throughout the month.12
