A BILL

To amend section 3707.48 of the Revised Code to

correct a cross reference with regard to

2

concussions and head injuries in athletic

3

activities organized by youth sports organizations

4

and to declare an emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That section 3707.48 of the Revised Code be	6
amended to read as follows:	7

Sec. 3707.48.  No person shall violate sections 3707.01 to	8
3707.53, inclusive,3707.50 or section 3707.53 of the Revised	9
Code, or any order or regulation of the board of health of a city	10
or general health district made in pursuance thereof, obstruct or	11
interfere with the execution of such order, or willfully or	12
illegally omit to obey such order.	13

Section 2.  That existing section 3707.48 of the Revised Code	14
is hereby repealed.	15

Section 3. This act is hereby declared to be an emergency	16
measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public	17
peace, health, and safety. The reason for such necessity is to	18
protect the safety of Ohio's youth. Therefore, this act shall go	19
into immediate effect.	20
