| To enact section 9.318 of the Revised Code to require | 1 |
| state agencies to purchase only uniforms and other | 2 |
| apparel items that are made with American | 3 |
| textiles, materials, and supplies. | 4 |
| Section 1. That section 9.318 of the Revised Code be enacted | 5 |
| to read as follows: | 6 |
| Sec. 9.318. (A) As used in this section, "state agency" means | 7 |
| every organized body, office, or agency established by the laws of | 8 |
| the state for the exercise and function of state government. | 9 |
| "State agency" includes any state institution of higher education | 10 |
| as defined in section 3345.011 of the Revised Code. | 11 |
| (B) No state agency shall purchase or otherwise receive any | 12 |
| uniforms or other apparel articles unless the textiles, materials, | 13 |
| and supplies used in the uniforms or other apparel articles are | 14 |
| entirely grown, produced, or manufactured in the United States. | 15 |
