| Section 1. That section 5.2285 of the Revised Code be enacted | 4 |
| to read as follows: | 5 |
| Sec. 5.2285. The first week of October is designated as "Ohio | 6 |
| Forest Product Awareness Week" in order to educate the public | 7 |
| about, increase public awareness of, and recognize the important | 8 |
| contributions of the state's forests and forest products industry | 9 |
| to the state's economic viability and the quality of life of its | 10 |
| citizens and to recognize the forest products industry's | 11 |
| environmentally responsible stewardship of the state's forest | 12 |
| resources. | 13 |
