A RESOLUTION
In memory of Sergeant Titus R. Reynolds.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio extend our condolences to the family and friends of Sergeant Titus R. Reynolds in their bereavement; and

       WHEREAS,  Titus Reynolds was a truly unforgettable man whose words and actions endeared him to everyone who knew him. A remarkable person who experienced joy, understood kindness and loyalty, and knew how to communicate his beliefs and share his strengths, he confronted challenges and faced adversity with an admirable spirit, and the legacy of care and commitment he established will surely live on; and

       WHEREAS,  A former student of Reynoldsburg High School and a local vocational school, Titus Reynolds was a member of the 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army, and he was serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom when he was killed in the line of duty. His courage and determination were admirable, and his willingness to serve his country, regardless of his own safety and without objection, proved him to be a model soldier and an exceptional American citizen; and

       WHEREAS,  The selfless dedication of Titus Reynolds to the welfare of others distinguished him as an outstanding human being and a leading citizen. It is our sincere hope that his memory will be a source of comfort to those who loved and cherished him, including his wife, Nikki, his parents, Rod and Elizabeth, and his three siblings; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, express a profound sense of loss and genuine regret at the death of Sergeant Titus R. Reynolds and pay tribute to this honorable man; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the family of Sergeant Titus R. Reynolds.
