| Honoring the Hamilton City School District as the 2010 Ohio School District of Character. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Hamilton City School District on being selected as the 2010 Ohio School District of Character; and |
| WHEREAS, Sponsored by the Ohio Partners in Character Education, the Ohio School District of Character designation honors the Hamilton City School District for providing students with an environment committed to ethics and excellence. The accomplishments of the district are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on the institution itself but also on the faculty, staff, and students and on the community; and |
| WHEREAS, Education is vital to our nation's continued economic and social well-being, and as the need for global learning and understanding increases, so do the demands placed upon our system of education. The Hamilton City School District has consistently and effectively met these demands, and its students, staff, and alumni can be justly proud of this fine institution; and |
| WHEREAS, The Hamilton City School District has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and its generous contributions have gained it the appreciation and esteem of many. We are certain that as this worthy district maintains its dedication to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has become its hallmark; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Hamilton City School District on its success and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Hamilton City School District. |
