A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
To provide for the Ohio General Assembly to meet in 1
joint session in the chamber of the House of 2
Representatives on November 29, 2011, for the 3
purpose of honoring the recipients of the Ohio 4
Military Medal of Distinction and their family 5
members.6


BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO
(THE SENATE CONCURRING):

       WHEREAS, Am. Sub. S.B. 248 of the 127th General Assembly 7
established the Ohio Military Medal of Distinction to honor 8
Ohioans who have fallen while in the service of the United States; 9
and 10

       WHEREAS, The Ohio General Assembly intends to honor the 11
recipients of the Ohio Military Medal of Distinction in a joint 12
session of the General Assembly convened for that purpose; now 13
therefore be it14

       RESOLVED, That we, the members of the 129th General Assembly 15
of the State of Ohio, shall meet in joint session in the chamber 16
of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at 17
11:00 o'clock a.m., for the purpose of honoring the recipients of 18
the Ohio Military Medal of Distinction and their family members.19
