| Honoring Kings Mills Elementary School as a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Kings Mills Elementary School on being selected as a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education; and |
| WHEREAS, Selection for this distinction is an honor for Kings Mills Elementary School, for it was one of only eighteen Ohio schools from among three hundred five schools in the country designated as a National Blue Ribbon School. The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program identifies and recognizes both public and private schools for their excellence in teaching and instruction, student achievement, leadership, and parental involvement, and all those affiliated with Kings Mills are truly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, With a dedicated commitment to educational excellence, the faculty, staff, and administration of Kings Mills Elementary School have worked diligently to offer students a well-balanced curriculum that seeks to develop their academic, emotional, social, and physical capabilities. These fine professionals have earned the respect and gratitude of the community; and |
| WHEREAS, Kings Mills Elementary School has established a solid foundation of superior programs on which it can build an even more rewarding and productive future. With energy and enthusiasm, the school's faculty and administration have worked to develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative curriculum, and their efforts have paid handsome dividends; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, extend special recognition to Kings Mills Elementary School on earning the status of National Blue Ribbon School and salute all those involved as fine Ohioans; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kings Mills Elementary School. |
