A RESOLUTION
Honoring Becky Minger as the 2010 Miss Ohio. 1

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 129th General 2
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Becky Minger on being 3
crowned Miss Ohio for 2010; and 4

       WHEREAS,  An intelligent, poised, and motivated young woman, 5
Becky Minger has developed her knowledge and skills and has 6
striven to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence. A 2005 7
graduate of Sylvania Northview High School and a 2010 graduate of 8
Bowling Green State University, she has displayed an exceptional 9
willingness to work hard to attain superior results, and 10
consequently, she was selected as the 2010 Miss All-American City 11
and then Miss Ohio, our state's representative to the 2011 Miss 12
America Pageant; and 13

       WHEREAS,  Becky Minger has derived extra energy from her many 14
activities and accomplishments, including serving as the national 15
spokesperson for The Thank You Foundation, and her integrity and 16
steadfast determination are truly admirable. Indeed, her amiable 17
style will carry her far beyond this event and will be of great 18
value to her in the years to come; and 19

       WHEREAS,  The achievements of Becky Minger are a justifiable 20
source of pride not only for her family and friends but also for 21
the entire community. She has shown a sincere desire to fully 22
develop her talents so that she might fulfill her goals in the 23
future, and this, coupled with her maturity and initiative, shows 24
her potential to become one of tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it 25

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th 26
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend 27
Becky Minger on her recent honor and extend best wishes for 28
ongoing success; and be it further 29

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Becky Minger. 31
