A RESOLUTION
Honoring Drew Lovejoy on placing first in the 14-15 1
age group at the 2010 All Ireland Irish Dance 2
Competition. 3

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 129th General 4
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Drew Lovejoy as the 5
2010 All Ireland Irish Dance Competition champion in the 14-15 age 6
group; and 7

       WHEREAS,  An intelligent and motivated individual, Drew 8
Lovejoy has striven to develop his knowledge and skills and has 9
amply demonstrated his ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm 10
and confidence. He has displayed an exceptional willingness to 11
work hard to become an exceptional dancer, and through his 12
tremendous efforts, he has set an example worthy of emulation; and 13

       WHEREAS,  Drew Lovejoy can be justifiably proud of his 14
achievements, as they are evidence of his sincere desire to 15
develop his gifts completely so that he might fulfill his future 16
goals. With his talent and initiative, he has no doubt developed a 17
knowledge of dance that will continue to benefit him throughout 18
his lifetime; and 19

       WHEREAS,  Dance is an integral component of our culture and 20
heritage, helping people communicate across cultural and social 21
barriers, as well as uniting performers and viewers alike in a 22
meaningful shared experience. Through Drew Lovejoy's persevering 23
efforts, the richness and beauty of this exceptional art form will 24
continue to be enjoyed by countless individuals of all ages and 25
backgrounds; therefore be it 26

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th 27
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, we commend 28
Drew Lovejoy for his outstanding performance at the 2010 All 29
Ireland Irish Dance Competition; and be it further 30

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 31
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Drew Lovejoy. 32
