| Honoring Candice Miller for outstanding service to the State of Ohio. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Candice Miller for her loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and |
| WHEREAS, Candice Miller is a remarkable individual, for she has combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic member of the General Assembly staff. Commencing her tenure in 1997, she served the House of Representatives in the offices of Bill Taylor and Jackie O'Brien before transferring to the Senate in 2000, and she worked for Doug White there and at the Ohio Department of Commerce before returning to the Senate as the administrative aide to Tom Niehaus in 2005. Indeed, she has performed her duties and fulfilled her responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence, and she is deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the past fifteen years, Candice Miller has given generously of her time, energy, and abilities to assist the General Assembly and has demonstrated a noteworthy commitment to the success of state government. She has provided a valuable service by helping to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the legislative process, and without the efforts of individuals such as she, many services that are currently available to the constituents of our state would cease to exist; and |
| WHEREAS, Candice Miller's contributions to the State of Ohio have been greatly appreciated by all those who have had the pleasure of working with her. She has displayed exceptional devotion, responsibility, and enthusiasm in her endeavors, and we extend best wishes for health and happiness in the years to come; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Candice Miller on her exemplary state service and salute her as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Candice Miller. |
