Honoring Trisha Whatley for outstanding service to the State of Ohio. |
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Trisha Whatley for her loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and |
WHEREAS, Trisha Whatley is a remarkable individual, for she has combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic member of the General Assembly staff. Commencing her tenure as a page with the House of Representatives in 1999, she became the administrative assistant in the office of Tom Niehaus in 2001, and she was named his legislative aide in 2005 after he was elected to the Senate. Indeed, she has performed her duties and fulfilled her responsibilities with the utmost skill and competence, and she is deserving of high praise; and |
WHEREAS, Over the past thirteen years, Trisha Whatley has given generously of her time, energy, and abilities to assist the General Assembly and has demonstrated a noteworthy commitment to the success of state government. She has provided a valuable service by helping to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the legislative process, and without the efforts of people such as she, many services that are currently available to the constituents of our state would cease to exist; and |
WHEREAS, Trisha Whatley's contributions to the State of Ohio have been greatly appreciated by all those who have had the pleasure of working with her. She has displayed exceptional devotion, responsibility, and enthusiasm in her endeavors, and we extend best wishes for health and happiness in the years to come; therefore be it |
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Trisha Whatley on her exemplary state service and salute her as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Trisha Whatley. |
