| In memory of the Honorable Dana A. Deshler. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio extend heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the Honorable Dana A. Deshler in their time of bereavement; and |
| WHEREAS, Dana Deshler's zealous love of life and his selfless concern for the welfare of others distinguished him as an outstanding human being and as a leading citizen. Among his endeavors, he was an attorney in private practice, a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1980 to 1986, and a judge with the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas and Court of Appeals, from which he retired in 2003, and he was a dedicated and devoted public servant whose exemplary career serves as an inspiration for others; and |
| WHEREAS, The love, compassion, and understanding that Dana Deshler so readily extended to others will long remain in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. A man of exceptional concern and insight, Dana Deshler established a record of achievement that is worthy of emulation, and his generosity, talents, and seemingly inexhaustible enthusiasm will be truly missed; and |
| WHEREAS, In his various roles as a husband, father, grandfather, politician, judge, and member of the community, Dana Deshler led an exemplary life, manifesting those virtues we all seek to emulate, and the warmth and understanding he so readily extended to others will stand as a testament to his personal character. He will be remembered fondly by all those who knew and loved him; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to the memory of the Honorable Dana A. Deshler; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the family of the Honorable Dana A. Deshler. |
