| Honoring Columbus Castings on its One Hundred Tenth Anniversary. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Columbus Castings on the One Hundred Tenth Anniversary of its Parsons Avenue facility, celebrated October 10, 2012; and |
| WHEREAS, Since its establishment, all those associated with Columbus Castings have consistently demonstrated exemplary professionalism and expertise, as well as an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards. Serving the industrial, mass transit, and railroad industries, the company has grown to become one of the largest manufacturers in Greater Columbus, and due to the tremendous effort and initiative displayed by its more than 800 employees, the organization has grown significantly since its inception. Indeed, this noteworthy venture is certainly deserving of emulation; and |
| WHEREAS, Ohio's economic well-being depends on entrepreneurs to provide goods and services to the citizens of our state. We are proud to note that it is through the diligent work of individuals such as all those affiliated with Columbus Castings, who are willing to invest in the future of their community, that the State of Ohio remains a pleasant place in which to live and work; and |
| WHEREAS, The noteworthy success of Columbus Castings is attributable largely to the loyal service of its highly qualified and dedicated staff, as well as to the innovation and foresight of its president and chief executive officer, Richard Ruebusch. Columbus Castings has set a shining example of responsible business practice, earning the admiration of many, and we are certain that it will uphold its unfaltering devotion to excellence; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Columbus Castings on the occasion of its One Hundred Tenth Anniversary and wish the company all the best in the years to come; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Columbus Castings. |
