| Honoring Darius Ellison as the 2013 Ohio Youth of the Year. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Darius Ellison on being selected as the Ohio Youth of the Year for 2013 by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America; and |
| WHEREAS, Darius Ellison has striven to develop his knowledge and skills, and consequently, he was named this year's Boys and Girls Clubs of America's Ohio Youth of the Year. A member of the Mt. Pleasant Boys and Girls Club and a senior at Ginn Academy, he has amply demonstrated his ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence, and he has set an example worthy of emulation; and |
| WHEREAS, Darius Ellison has willingly given of his time, energy, and abilities, and he has striven to better the world around him, earning him the respect and esteem of many. We are certain that in the years to come, he will continue to display the same unwavering commitment to excellence for which he has become known; and |
| WHEREAS, Darius Ellison's accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on him but also on his family, his school, and his community. He has earned a well-deserved reputation as a generous and civic-minded person for giving back to the community far more than he has gleaned; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Darius Ellison for his exceptional service to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
