A RESOLUTION
Honoring Ralph E. and Helen Waite on their Sixty-fifth Wedding Anniversary.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Ralph E. and Helen Waite on their Sixty-fifth Wedding Anniversary, July 23, 2013; and

       WHEREAS,  For sixty-five years, Ralph and Helen Waite have enjoyed each other's company, sustaining an intimacy capable not only of cherishing life's blessings but also of weathering its storms. Such longevity in a marriage is rare, and suggests that behind this relationship is an abundance of affection, patience, and trust; and 

       WHEREAS,  Together, Ralph and Helen Waite have partaken of a multitude of rich and fulfilling experiences, and they have shared the delights and difficulties of hard work. Clearly, their cheer and vitality after six and a half decades of marital partnership are irrefutable evidence of their faithful commitment to one another; and

       WHEREAS,  Our country depends on solid, durable marriages for its own survival and stability, and the union of Ralph and Helen Waite has contributed to society as a whole by creating a warm and welcoming home, a household distinguished by mutual support, respect, and devotion. Indeed, the example of their marriage has been a genuine inspiration to their many friends and family, including their two sons, Harold and Darrell, and their six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Ralph E. and Helen Waite on their Sixty-fifth Wedding Anniversary and wish them a bright, rewarding future; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Ralph E. and Helen Waite.
