| Honoring Brittany Reid as the 2013 Miss Ohio Teen USA. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Brittany Reid on being crowned Miss Ohio Teen USA for 2013; and |
| WHEREAS, Known and admired throughout the community as a charming individual, Brittany Reid represents other women throughout the area who have established high personal goals and have striven to reach their potential, and as a result, she has been crowned Miss Ohio Teen USA and will go on to compete as our state's representative at the national competition, Miss Teen USA. Previously named Miss Central Ohio Teen, she is confident in her approach to life, and she is a resourceful and talented person; and |
| WHEREAS, A senior at Shawnee High School, Brittany Reid has derived extra energy from her many activities and accomplishments, and her integrity and steadfast determination are truly admirable. Her amiable style will carry her far beyond this event and will be of great value to her in the years to come; and |
| WHEREAS, The achievements of Brittany Reid are a justifiable source of pride not only for her family and friends but also for the entire community. She has shown a sincere desire to fully develop her talents so that she might fulfill her goals in the future, and this, coupled with her maturity and initiative, shows her potential to become one of tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to Brittany Reid on her recent honor and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Brittany Reid. |
