A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Tuesday Musical Association on its One Hundred Twenty-fifth Anniversary.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Tuesday Musical Association on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Twenty-fifth Anniversary; and

       WHEREAS,  The Tuesday Musical Association is deserving of high praise, and all those associated with this fine organization have reason to take pride in their reputation as individuals with a fervent commitment to entertaining. Established by thirteen women, including Gertrude Seiberling, the ensemble has earned the appreciation of countless music enthusiasts, and it has set an example of service worthy of emulation by creating a comprehensive youth educational and scholarship program; and 

       WHEREAS,  A cohesive group of dedicated and motivated people, the members of the Tuesday Musical Association, both past and present, can take pride in their accomplishments and their record of attainment. These men and women have worked diligently to impart the beauty of music to audiences by presenting premier concert series, and their efforts have been truly inspirational; and

       WHEREAS,  Boasting such international artists as Joshua Bell, Vladimir Horowitz, Artur Rubinstein, the Vienna Boys Choir, Yehudi Menuhin, Isaac Stern, Luciano Pavarotti, Itzhak Perlman, Cecilia Bartoli, and Yo-Yo Ma, the Tuesday Musical Association has established a solid foundation of success upon which it can continue to grow and prosper. The group has gained the respect and admiration of many, and we are certain that in the years to come, it will maintain its unwavering devotion to excellence; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Tuesday Musical Association on its One Hundred Twenty-fifth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Tuesday Musical Association.
