| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Richard H. Finan for his outstanding service as chairman of the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout his distinguished career, Richard Finan has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing his duties with the utmost efficiency and competence. A former member of the Ohio House of Representatives, he served as a member of the Ohio Senate for twenty-four years, the last four as president, and he was named chairman of the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board upon its inception in 1991; and |
| WHEREAS, Never content to take a passive role in life, Richard Finan is truly a remarkable individual. Always sincere and energetic in his approach to his work, he has given generously of his time and abilities far beyond what was required or expected and has displayed a genuine commitment to bettering the world around him; and |
| WHEREAS, The enthusiasm and expertise Richard Finan has shown in all of his endeavors have gained him the appreciation and esteem of many. Indeed, he can be assured that he has provided a valuable service to the State of Ohio and has established an exemplary record of personal and professional success; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Richard H. Finan on his exceptional service and extend best wishes for the years to come; and be it further |
