| Honoring Chelsea Skidmore as the winner of the 2013 National FFA Dairy Production Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Chelsea Skidmore on receiving the 2013 Dairy Production Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award at the 86th National FFA Convention and Expo; and |
| WHEREAS, Chelsea Skidmore is deserving of high praise, for she has demonstrated remarkable diligence and enthusiasm, as well as an unwavering dedication to upholding the goals and principles of the National FFA Organization. A student in the Mississinawa Valley Local School District, where she is active with the MVCTC FFA chapter, she has displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to produce superior results, and consequently, she was presented with this year's Dairy Production Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award; and |
| WHEREAS, The maturity and experience Chelsea Skidmore has gained through her participation in FFA will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of tomorrow. Indeed, she has set an example of excellence that is worthy of emulation; and |
| WHEREAS, FFA plays a vital role in the total education of young people, for it is through such worthwhile programs that the value of hard work is taught and an opportunity is afforded to develop good leadership skills. It is certainly encouraging to know that the future of Ohio agriculture lies, to a large extent, in the capable hands of conscientious individuals such as Chelsea Skidmore; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Chelsea Skidmore for outstanding success and salute her as one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
