A RESOLUTION
Honoring William Marshall for sixty-five years as a Freemason.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate William Marshall on receiving a sixty-five-year certificate and pin from the Free and Accepted Masons Grand Lodge of Ohio; and

       WHEREAS,  William Marshall is a remarkable individual, for he has combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader in the community. Initiated as an apprentice in February 1949 and elevated to master mason two months later, he has involved himself in many significant endeavors through his association with the Free and Accepted Masons, and he has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to upholding the noteworthy ideals of this fine organization; and 

       WHEREAS,  During six and a half decades of service with the Free and Accepted Masons, William Marshall has been a member of Russellville Lodge 166, serving as worshipful master in 1960 and 1961 and as tyler for many years. Over the years, he has established himself as an outstanding member through his loyal service and attendance, as well as through his unique talents and leadership ability, and we applaud him on his tremendous efforts; and

       WHEREAS,  Willingly giving of his time, energy, and abilities, William Marshall has worked tirelessly to better the world around him, and his generous contributions have earned him the respect and esteem of the entire community. He is truly deserving of high praise for the personal commitment he has made to this exemplary organization; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend William Marshall on his service as a Freemason and salute him as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to William Marshall.
