| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the University of Cincinnati dance team on winning first place in the hip hop category at the 2014 Universal Cheerleaders Association and Universal Dance Association Division IA College Dance Championship in Orlando, Florida; and |
| WHEREAS, These talented athletes are, indeed, to be applauded for their remarkable fitness and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently in the squad's impressive performance at this year's UCA and UDA Division IA College Dance Team Championship. To their credit, the participants could always be counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, exuberance, and grace; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the University of Cincinnati dance team have trained diligently in order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their exceptional prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in this exciting activity has enabled them to learn much about creative expression, self-discipline, leadership, and dedication, and clearly, the experience they have acquired is certain to benefit them in the years to come; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout long hours of practice and competition, the members of the University of Cincinnati dance team have consistently demonstrated the talent, dedication, confidence, and motivation that are the hallmarks of true champions, and we are pleased to pay tribute to these fine athletes on their achievements. Clearly, the team members have served as an inspiration to their peers, and they are truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute the University of Cincinnati dance team for exemplary attainment and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the University of Cincinnati dance team. |
