| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to comment Taylor Bodey as the 2014 Division II State Champion in girls bowling; and |
| WHEREAS, A diligent and capable individual, Taylor Bodey is deserving of acknowledgement for her exemplary accomplishments as a bowler. A student at Urbana High School, she rolled a 191-167-300/658 series to secure the 2014 Division II State Championship crown and set a single game record, and she has earned the admiration and respect of bowlers throughout the area; and |
| WHEREAS, Through her participation in sports, Taylor Bodey has learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to her throughout her life. Through her outstanding efforts, she has inspired countless people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and she has set an example worthy of recognition; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout intense training and preparation, Taylor Bodey has consistently demonstrated the talent, integrity, and motivation that are the hallmarks of a true champion. With athletics playing such an important part in the development of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to such a fine athlete; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Taylor Bodey on her state championship and wish her all the best in the years to come; and be it further |
