Honoring The Timken Company on its One Hundred Fifteenth Anniversary. |
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate The Timken Company on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Fifteenth Anniversary; and |
WHEREAS, Founded in Saint Louis by Henry Timken in 1899, The Timken Company moved to Canton in 1901, and it has experienced consistent growth and prosperity due to its widespread reputation for reliability and convenience. The company has engineered, manufactured, and marketed mechanical components and high-performance steel, including bearings, bars and tubes, transmissions, gearboxes, and chains, and it has maintained an outstanding record of professionalism over the past one hundred fifteen years; and |
WHEREAS, The noteworthy success of The Timken Company is attributable largely to the loyal service of its highly qualified and committed staff, as well as to the innovation and foresight of its management. Their combined efforts have earned the organization a well-deserved reputation for superiority and have distinguished the company as a worthy business enterprise that has contributed greatly to the area's economic well-being; and |
WHEREAS, Over the years, The Timken Company has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area. We are certain that as this worthy establishment maintains its unwavering dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to prosper and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it |
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend The Timken Company on its One Hundred Fifteenth Anniversary and extend best wishes as it branches off into The Timken Company and the Timken Steel Corporation; and be it further |
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to The Timken Company. |
