| Honoring Abigail Cornwell on placing first at the 2014 Ohio Healthy Lunchtime Challenge. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Abigail Cornwell on winning first place in the 2014 Ohio Healthy Lunchtime Challenge; and |
| WHEREAS, A fifth-grade student at East Elementary School, Abigail Cornwell has proven herself to be a mature young individual of exceptional intelligence and determination. Working diligently to attain success, she won first place with her recipe, Sunrise Tuscan Chicken, at the Ohio Healthy Lunchtime Challenge, and she is one of only fifty-four children in the nation who will be traveling to meet First Lady Michelle Obama at the Kids' State Dinner, July 17-18, 2014. Clearly, she has demonstrated the confidence of a true achiever; and |
| WHEREAS, Undaunted by challenges Abigail Cornwell has always pursued her goals with motivation and persistence, and with her enthusiasm, intelligence, and positive outlook, she is a case in point for her peers. The experience and self-confidence that she has gained through her involvement in the Ohio Healthy Lunchtime Challenge will no doubt be of great benefit to her throughout her lifetime; and |
| WHEREAS, With a wealth of vision and vitality, Abigail Cornwell has shown how very much a conscientious, industrious person can accomplish, and she is deeply appreciated for her initiative and commitment. Her fine example has prompted others to set ambitious goals and exacting standards for themselves, and to her credit, today's young people would be hard pressed to find a better role model; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Abigail Cornwell on placing first at the 2014 Ohio Healthy Lunchtime Challenge and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
