| Honoring Emerson Minch as a 2014 FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby World Champion. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Emerson Minch on winning the super stock division of the 77th FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby World Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, Emerson Minch is truly worthy of recognition for his outstanding achievements in Soap Box Derby. An eighth-grade student at Center Middle School, he won first place in the super stock division at the 77th FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby World Championship, and it is no surprise that he has earned a host of admirers; and |
| WHEREAS, Indeed, Emerson Minch has identified himself as a hard-working individual. The knowledge and self-confidence that he has gained through his participation in events such as Soap Box Derby will no doubt be of great benefit to him throughout his lifetime; and |
| WHEREAS, With self-discipline, perseverance, and resolve, Emerson Minch has distinguished himself as a conscientious and responsible young man. Through his remarkable efforts, he has set an example worthy of emulation, and we are certain that he will continue to display the same unwavering dedication to excellence for which he has become known; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Emerson Minch for tremendous attainment and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further |
