A RESOLUTION
Honoring Joseph Bistritz on winning the 2014 Division II State Championship in boys cross country.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Joseph Bistritz as the 2014 Division II State Boys Cross Country Champion; and

       WHEREAS,  A diligent and capable individual, Joseph Bistritz is deserving of applause for his exemplary accomplishments as a junior member of the Chagrin Falls High School boys cross country team. An exceptional athlete, he won first place at the 2014 Division II State Meet with a time of 15:44.37, and his noteworthy record of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for others to emulate; and 

       WHEREAS,  Through his participation in sports, Joseph Bistritz has learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him throughout his life. Through his outstanding efforts, he has inspired countless individuals to excel in various areas of endeavor, and he has set an example worthy of recognition; and

       WHEREAS,  In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. With athletics playing such an important part in the development of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to such a fine athlete as Joseph Bistritz; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Joseph Bistritz on his remarkable 2014 cross country season and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Joseph Bistritz.
