| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate David Tepe on securing the 2013 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship title; and |
| WHEREAS, A student at the University of Cincinnati, David Tepe has successfully combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly exceptional athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked diligently to attain ultimate proficiency in golf, and as a result, he placed first with a score of 208 at this year's BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, David Tepe has exemplified all of the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of the sports world, including courage, discipline, integrity, and an innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship. Through his unwavering commitment to excellence, he has established herself as a true champion; and |
| WHEREAS, David Tepe has conscientiously applied himself to the quest for excellence as an golfer, training and practicing diligently in order to ensure peak conditioning. Time and again, he has risen to the occasion, maintaining his morale and composure, and he has gained the respect of even his most determined rivals. Clearly, his enthusiastic involvement in golf has enabled him to learn much about dedication, self-discipline, and leadership, and in the process, his exceptional prowess has made his family and friends very proud; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend David Tepe for tremendous attainment and salute him as one of Ohio's finest athletes; and be it further |
