| Honoring Jonathon Crawford on winning the 2013 National Build it Better contest. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Jonathon Crawford on placing first at the 2013 National Build it Better contest; and |
| WHEREAS, A fifth-grade student at Tri-Village Elementary School, Jonathon Crawford has established high personal goals and striven to reach his potential, and as a result, his iPad program, entitled Patriot Lunch Order, won first-place honors at this year's National Build it Better contest. Indeed, he can be justifiably proud of his exemplary record of achievement, for he has distinguished himself among a select group of students whose accomplishments merit praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Jonathon Crawford's success, both in and out of the classroom, is an excellent reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teachers, his school, and his community. The initiative, devotion, and hard work he has exhibited in every endeavor will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the future; and |
| WHEREAS, Displaying self-discipline, perseverance, and resolve, Jonathon Crawford has identified himself as a conscientious and hard-working student. The knowledge and self-confidence he has gained through his participation in events such as the National Build it Better contest will no doubt be of great benefit to him throughout his lifetime; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Jonathon Crawford on his recent accolade and salute him as one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Jonathon Crawford. |
