| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Brother Nick Renner on receiving the 2013 Archbishop O'Hara Advocacy Award for Rural Ministry from the National Catholic Rural Life Conference; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, Nick Renner has become involved in many significant endeavors, helping to guarantee a high level of success for all projects with which he has been associated, including the Mercer County Soil and Water Conservation District, Immaculate Conception Parish, and the St. Charles Center. A highly principled man, he has given back to the agricultural community far more than he has gleaned; and |
| WHEREAS, Known throughout the area as an exceptional person, Nick Renner has shown commendable devotion and social concern to his friends and neighbors and has set an example of service worthy of emulation. His superlative work is the hallmark of genuine and responsible citizenship and demonstrates the potential of individuals to have a positive effect on the quality of life in our society; and |
| WHEREAS, It is through the unsurpassed efforts and unparalleled commitment of individuals such as Nick Renner that our nation continues to grow and prosper and our state remains responsive to the needs of its citizens. He has gained a well-deserved reputation as a generous and civic-minded person, and he is worthy of acknowledgement for his accomplishments; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Brother Nick Renner on his recent achievement and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
