| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Makayla Dull on winning the 2013 Division II State Championship in girls golf; and |
| WHEREAS, A junior at Lakota High School, Makayla Dull has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional young athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in golf, and as a result, she shot a 142 to secure this year's Division II State Championship title; and |
| WHEREAS, Makayla Dull's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her coaches, her school, and her community. Her unwavering commitment to excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of many, and she is certainly worthy of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to Makayla Dull on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same maturity and experience she has gained through her participation in golf will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Makayla Dull as the 2013 Division II State Champion in girls golf and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further |
